About: I have experience taking care of animals professionally in a boarding setting and within a vet clinic (as a technician, not a doctor). I have experience handling and caring for more ‘opinionated’ patients/animals. From dogs with stranger danger or ‘spicy’ cats. I have experience caring for diabetic and higher needs animals and particularly am rewarded by caring for older fur babies, cat and dog. I have a deep care for all animals and always want to provide the best care possible. I work from home and am able to bring my work wherever I am, so I can stay with animals who cannot be left alone for long periods of time. I take care to build rapport with animals and respect their communication, going slow and reading body language in order to understand their boundaries and provide the best care possible. I look forward to providing quality and compassionate care to your furry family members. I work from home and can bring my work wherever I am. This allows me to care for animals that need more frequent care/can’t be left alone for too long. I am available for drop ins on the weekends (Friday-Monday) and some weekdays depending on my schedule. I can follow most instructions or requests within reason to keep your pet on their typical routine. I can follow medication routines, feeding routines and care needs such as crating, enrichment and training reinforcement (manners, already taught commands etc). I can clean litter boxes once per day.

We booked for house sitting just a couple weeks ago when we planned to bring both our disabled senior dog Max and Bennie . At the time we asked for help with taking special care of Max, repositioning and taking him out every couple hours during our time at Church Retreat. Sadly Max passed before our trip, Phillip was kind enough to still be willing to hang out with Bennie as we were staying at an Airbnb that normally doesn’t allow pets and had given us permission since we have a sitter and a crate for him. Philip was so thoughtful and kind to our Bennie making sure he felt secure and loved. He kept us informed on how Bennie was doing throughout the 2 days and was even willing to drive 30 min to the church we attended, so that he could hang out with Bennie in a shady spot for a couple hours ! About: I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals since I was 12, I love getting to know different animals and take care of them. I’m currently working full time and hoping to move to part time soon, so I have some spare time for walks and a day or two i can housesit that will increase in the future. About: I’ve helped train dogs and i work with camp bow wow working with dogs on the daily, i also went to a technical school working with all types of animals as well! i love giving enrichment time and getting to know all types of dogs I’m working part time so after work and days I don’t work i’m able to come and help, i can also make adjustments if needed I don’t usually do help from my home but I can come to others home to help out, I love to make every animal feel safe and comfortable
