I’m available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, with a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I do work part-time, so I’m unavailable on Mondays, Wednesdays, and during the day on Fridays. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting independently for several years, caring for dogs in their own homes where they feel safest and most comfortable. I understand how important it is for pet parents to have someone reliable and loving looking after their pets while they’re away. In addition to my personal pet sitting experience, my family and I have helped care for foster dogs for local rescue organizations, which gave me experience with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and special needs. From energetic pups to shy or anxious dogs, I’ve learned how to be patient, attentive, and calm so pets feel secure. When caring for your pets, I focus on: • Keeping their routine consistent • Giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise • Making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Your pets will be treated like family while you’re away. 🐶🐱 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I schedule my day to allow consistent, unrushed visits so your pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they’re used to. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are happy and safe while you’re away. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all care instructions, keep the home secure, and make sure pets are always safe and supervised. I also send updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

As your dog sitter I promise to take care of your furry kid like it was my own, I’m very open to learning new routines, and I have a very flexible schedule. Also, I happen to have six dogs of my own and am very passionate about my job as a dog sitter. I strongly believe that animals aren’t just a pet they are part of the family. About: I have had pets my entire life. As a 28 year old I have had several years of dog and cat training. I cannot remember a time in my life when I didn’t own a dog. I love to play, run, sit, and comfort animals. I am very good with dogs of any age and weight. I am an animal lover and understand that dogs are humans best friends. Animals deserve to be treated with the best care possible. I am very flexible and eager to work with anyone who needs help! Thank you. I am currently working full time 3rd shift. I am a full time single mom. I am very flexible. My schedule does vary due to working at a hospital and having a toddler, but nothing that would stop me from caring for your fur baby! I had two middle aged small dogs. That were inside dogs and go outside when they please. We went on 3 walks a day and played with toys inside. My dogs have food in their bowls 24/7. I will follow any schedule or expectations given by the owner. My cats were cared for the same as my dogs.

About: Growing up I lived on a livestock farm so my life for animals came natural and at a very early age. I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 213 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Nichols. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Nichols stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nichols. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 91% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
