“Asher can be apprehensive when it comes to meeting new people and fur friends, but he was instantly comfortable with Cyrus. You can easily tell how knowledgeable about animals Cyrus is and how much he loves being around them by the way he talks. We especially felt comfortable knowing that his house is animal friendly, safe and spacious for our fur babies to roam. 10/10 would recommend.”

“I couldn't be happier with Ashley's care for my beloved dogs, Acura and Lilly, during their 8-day stay. From our initial meeting, it was evident that Ashley has a genuine love for animals. She provided daily updates, complete with photos, which reassured me that my pups were in good hands. Not only did she follow all instructions diligently, but she also went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and happiness. I returned home to two content and well-exercised dogs, which speaks volumes about Ashley's dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone seeking a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Ashley, for your exceptional care!”

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes since I was born. I’m comfortable with large dogs and special care. I’d be super happy to watch your furry friend! 🐶 I go to UNC Pembroke! If I am within 20 minutes I don’t mind commuting to campus, If over twenty minutes I’m good to stay all weekend!! I love dogs and I am happy to snuggle up with them while I study or watch tv, unless personal space is more their speed :).

About: I’m also a dedicated cat lover and understand that cats often do best when they can stay in their own familiar environment. I’m happy to provide calm, attentive care that respects each cat’s unique personality—whether they’re playful and social or more independent. During visits I can help with: • Feeding and fresh water • Litter box cleaning • Playtime and enrichment • Medication if needed • Lots of affection (only if your cat wants it!) I know many cats take time to warm up to new people, so I approach them gently and patiently to build trust. My goal is to keep their routine consistent and their stress low while you’re away. I’m also happy to send photo updates and messages so you know your cat is safe, comfortable, and cared for. Your cat will receive the same level of respect, patience, and loving care as any member of the family. 🐾

I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.

About: I have cared for cats since high school, and animals have always held a special place in my life. When I was a sophomore in college, I adopted my first cat at 3 years old and saved him from being sent to a shelter. Since then, he has been my world, and I’ve made it a priority to give him a loving, supportive home in South Carolina where he feels safe, comfortable, and cared for by my family that loves him just as much as I do. That experience strengthened my passion for animal care and my belief that every pet deserves patience, compassion, and a home where they feel secure!
About: Since childhood I've had animals. I profoundly love dogs and cats. I have volunteered at rescues and shelters in the past. I currently work for a local veterinary clinic. I'm committed to providing safe, excellent care for your furbabies! I currently have a full time job at a local veterinary clinic, however, I have flexibility in my schedule and don't work weekends. I'm available typically on same day basis. I have a modest home with a outdoor kennel, and indoor crates for safe, clean boarding for animals large or small! Plenty of love and attention given so they will not feel alone.
About: Updated: 09/04/2025 I’ve always owned multiple pets and have taken care of neighbor’s pets since I was 11. I’ve been working on and off through rover for about 8 years now but have much more experience pet sitting aside from rover (if you’re wondering why there are only a few recorded sits on my profile). If your animal needs special care such as medication, diaper/pad changing, extra exercise, etc, it’s no hassle at all on my end and I’m experienced with all of these and more! I’m comfortable sitting any animal and I’m comfortable with pet/house sitting that requires me to stay over at the house or visit the house. I completely understand any requirements that ensure the pet’s comfort or your peace of mind :) Feel free to ask me any questions! I care for pets in my own home which gives me more insight to both caring for the pet and understanding the perspective of an owner. This also unfortunately means I can’t board pets at my own house. I live in a house with a dog and a cat and I prioritize their comfort so I don’t want to board other pets in my home with them.

About: I absolutely LOVE cats, but I love dogs as well! I grew up with a cat that I was extremely close to, and now and I have a little one of my own. Though I have never owned a dog myself, I am comfortable around them, have petsit dogs and am more than happy to take care of one! My family used to travel for extended periods of time growing up and I would be so anxious about our pets being at home alone, even though they were being taken care of. I understand that anxious feeling and can definitely offer you peace of mind when you're away. I will be super interactive with your pet and play with them as much as they'd like! It's important to give them lots of attention and love when you are away. Though I am busy with school, I can do many things on my own time, making my schedule very flexible. This is how I am able to fit pet care into my daily routine! I will always keep my home and your home safe for pets! I am careful about what I leave in the open that pets have access to and I always refresh food and water, making sure to keep them in an appropriate location. I will always double-check fencing in the yard to make sure all pets are secure with no possibility of escaping.

“Left our fur baby with Skyla while we were visiting from out of town. Skyla was great and loving! She made Luna feel comfortable and provided her with lots of activities and play time. She kept us informed throughout the day which made us feel at ease. So thankful we were able to count on her to watched Luna while we vacationed!”

“Joe and Celeste were great with my little guy. Their two adorable pugs were the icing on the cake! My pup had a great time playing with them. And the best part? a front bay window bench seat with a little doggie ramp where they sit and watch squirrels and a spacious fenced-in back yard where they run free. Definitely worth it!”
“I was last minute searching for someone to watch my 3 month old puppy during the day. Emily responded very promptly. She allowed me to drop off Aspen early in the morning before I went to work. I was sent many pictures throughout the day and updates on how Aspen was doing. Emily spent some time working on training Aspen which is much appreciated. Aspen was very tired after spending the day at Emily’s house and playing with her dog. I would definitely use Emily for doggy day care again!”

“Alyssa greeted our dogs with caring and enthusiasm. The pet care techniques she shared with us are the same as ours so we knew she was theright person for our fur babies. Her home is very clean and pet friendly. We will continue to use her pet sitting services.”

“Digo loves being at daycare! Janet keeps him active and assures that he is socializing with other dogs. She takes him outside often and keeps him inside when weather is not conducive. She introduced him to kiddie pool and she reinforces training including housebreaking and simple commands such as “sit”. Janet is also very flexible with schedule - I’m a nurse and my hours are very early and long! We are very fortunate to have found Janet!”

“Mary is amazing & very patient with me 😂 and my Kimber girl took to her immediately. 🥰 she took us in on very short notice and treated us like family from the beginning. We are very lucky to find such a wonderful sitter and look forward to continuing our partnership!”

I have a car if needed for any reason and love being outdoors as much as possible so we can always go on nice long walks. I have a huge fenced in yard so we’ll spend plenty of time in the sun.

About: I have been raised alongside animals all my life. I've had dogs for as long as I remember ranging from pitbulls to great danes, and from chihuahuas to jack russells. I'm actually attending school to become a veternarian due to my unwavering attention of animals of all kinds. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! I work mornings fulltime. Pets in my care are never left home alone—there’s always someone around to give them attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I make sure their needs are always met, no matter the schedule. I keep a clean, calm environment and always make sure pets have fresh water, a cozy spot to relax, and plenty of supervised attention and cuddles.
About: I am a certified, licensed, and insured dog trainer and the owner of Chaos To Clarity K9. I work with dogs and their families on obedience, leash skills, everyday manners, and behavior challenges. Many of the dogs I help are everyday family dogs who need guidance with things like pulling on leash, barking, jumping, reactivity, or learning how to settle in the home. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping owners build strong foundations early through clear communication and consistency. I have a strong interest in behavior modification, especially helping dogs work through fear, stress, and reactivity at a pace that keeps them comfortable and learning. My husband is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a combat veteran and former military police K9 handler who trained civilian police dogs. Because of his veterinary background, I’m also able to consult with him when behavior questions may have a possible medical component, which can sometimes play a role in behavior. I also understand that dogs live in real families with real challenges. I live with multiple sclerosis and am raising an autistic four-year-old, so I appreciate how important it is for training to be practical, realistic, and supportive of the household environment. My goal is always to help create calmer, safer, and more enjoyable relationships between dogs and the people who love them. One thing that’s very important to me is paying attention to canine body language and stress signals. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle changes in posture, facial expression, and movement, and recognizing those signals early can prevent many behavior problems from escalating. During training, I help owners learn how to recognize what their dog is communicating so they can respond in a way that builds trust, confidence, and better behavior over time. Dog training is part of my regular weekly routine, and I intentionally keep my schedule structured so each client receives focused attention. My current training availability is: • Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Sunday: Afternoon appointments available by request Closed: Monday and Friday Because each dog and family has unique needs, I limit the number of training sessions I take each week so I can provide thoughtful, individualized guidance and follow-up support between sessions. Safety, trust, and clear communication are always my top priorities when working with dogs and their families. I pay close attention to canine body language and stress signals to make sure dogs remain comfortable and able to learn during training. Training sessions focus on creating a calm, structured environment where both the dog and owner can succeed. I work at the dog’s pace and help owners understand what their dog is communicating so they can respond clearly and confidently. My goal is to create training plans that are safe, practical, and sustainable for everyday life, helping dogs feel more secure while helping owners feel supported throughout the process.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, active, and cared for. I plan my schedule to allow plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and individual attention throughout the day. I’m also consistent with routines and communication, so pet parents can feel confident their dog is getting reliable care, structure, and lots of affection while they’re away. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, safe, and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, and care instructions carefully while making sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort levels so pets feel secure and well cared for while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected throughout the stay.

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes as well as 9 years professionally training dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and temperaments. I train basic and advanced obedience, working dogs, service animals and more. I am confident and comfortable caring for dogs that otherwise might be difficult for others without experience in the behavioral field, while keeping safety at the forefront of every interaction. Additionally, I have 5 years of vet tech experience, giving me the ability and willingness to care for pets with medical problems, senior pets, pets requiring medication or pets with special needs. I have owned and cared for farm animals for much of my teenage and adult life, allowing me to offer care for pets outside of the home such as bovine, horses, goats, pigs and chickens. I am comfortable with birds, reptiles and exotic pets, having raised rabbits most of my life as well as owning guinea pigs, snakes, sugar gliders and a quaker parrot. I am CPR certified and have attended several emergency care courses for cats and dogs. My passion has led me to providing pet care and dog training services full-time, allowing for me to provide services for you and your pets year-round! I provide pet care and training services full time, year-round! I am available for last minute requests and can handle care for pets with special needs or behavioral problems- keeping safety for both parties as a priority. I am situated on 4 acres in Loris. I am set up to care for dogs of different temperaments and preferences and have multiple fenced in yards to allow for play times and potty times in small groups or individually as needed. In the summertime, morning bathroom breaks are longer to allow for plenty of playtime before it gets too hot outside. I provide at LEAST 4 bathroom breaks throughout the day. During peak heat hours, outside breaks are shorter but indoor play is prioritized. Once things cool off in the evening, I provide another longer playtime outside. Not every dog cares for or does well with other dogs so temperament testing will be done before they are free to play with the others. All dogs are supervised when out at all times. Dogs in my home will be kenneled for bedtime or if I need to run a short errand (groceries, doctor appointment, private training lesson with a client, etc.) Care in the client's home will be discussed before the job starts. Everybody has different preferences and I strive to provide the best care possible for pets while owners are away!
