About: I’ve taken care of and trained my golden doodle Winnie who is currently 7 years old. Winnie is a loving and affectionate dog, who has some reactive and past aggressive behaviors due to her original home. Because of this, I have become very familiar with reactivity in dogs and have worked with her throughout her life with the help of some trainers to tackle these behaviors. With proper communication and transparency, I feel confident working with dogs with difficult behaviors. I also have a 15 year old yorkie, so I understand how to care for our old companions! Over the summer, I am normally done with work around noon and have the afternoons and evenings free. I am also pretty available during the weekend. I am able to be more flexible if discussed in advance! Available to care for pets inside your own home and will walk dogs in neighboring areas. At this time, I do not plan on caring for pets inside my own home.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. When caring for a dog in another home, I can easily follow instructions you leave for me. I can walk the dogs on a leash, take them to dog parks, or play with them in my own yard. If a dog has to come home with me, I have a large home with plenty of yard for them to run and play in. I have small crates at my own home if needed. I have experience with giving dogs medication due to my own senior dogs and my French bulldog who has had allergy issues.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.
