“If you are in the Carlisle, PA, area, please consider using Victoria C. and her family as your sitter. It was only a half a day stay but we were able to do a meet and greet before the actual date. She was very attentive and sent pictures to us showing what he was doing. We could tell by Blaze's body language he was happy with his stay. My current rescue dogs are Jake; a senior Coonhound mix adopted in Tennessee and Kiba, an adult Husky-Great Pyrenees mix adopted locally and is a recovering escape artist. I love dogs and as I think cats are cute, I am allergic and unfortunately cannot watch them. I love dogs of all sizes and ages! I love boys or girls! I enjoy going on car rides and checking out new areas for the pups to take a walk. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a pittie/lab mix and his name is Bentley. He loves to cuddle, play with other dogs, and is sweet as can be! I currently work full time hybrid. I work from home tuesdays and Friday’s and off on weekends. These are the best days for me to have a dog with me since I’m home. I work a 8-4 job. I care for them by spending time, making sure they are fed, walked, and loved on. I have my dog who enjoys chilling or playing with the dogs depending on what the other dog prefers. Pet care fits with my routine as I am hybrid for work and only live 10 mins away from my job. It is easy for me to run home over lunch to check on the dog I’m watching or if close by take out. I make time to spend with the dog I am watching and that they feel comfortable in my home. While dogs are in my home, I treat them like my own. They are able to sleep with me, be on furniture, etc. I take them for walks to get exercise. With parent permission I make ice cream treats (blueberries & Greek yogurt frozen together) and give them to the dog. I make sure they feel comfortable, are fed and have plenty of water. If a parent would like me to administer meds or give a bath, I am happy to do so!
