“We were nervous about hiring a stranger to house sit all of our animals- there are five- plus fish. We had had friends of friends house sit for us until this point, and something usually went wrong. Like they killed off a whole tank of fish or that they ignored our parrot, so she plucked out quite a few feathers, and we had never left our dogs with anyone who wasn't family. We have a rescue whose previous owners severely abused him, and he takes a second to warm up to people- for this reason, we haven't left either of them in four years. They've always come with us on vacation, or one of us stays home. This time we couldn't take them, and it was a tough decision. The highest praise I can give Zachary is that Henry (our rescue) snuggled him. I am so grateful for everything Zachary did for us, from nightly proof of life photos to the meet and greet beforehand to simply asking questions to make sure he cared for everyone the way we do. Since getting home about fifteen hours ago, we've already rebooked him and given his name to one of our friends who doesn't like to leave her dog. If you want a kind, caring and dependable person to care for your animals, Zachary is it.”

About: I quickly form bonds of mutual respect with the pets I care for, I have a degree in veterinary science and use it frequently to provide the best care possible. My weekdays are always available, Friday through Sunday is typically my time off but on occasion, I will have limited availability on those provided days. If given instructions, they will be followed to a 'T' if no instructions are given then I will take care of them to the best of my ability with the knowledge.

I trained my Shetland Sheepdog for 4H and we made it to the state fair. I also taught him many silly tricks. I can be a professional fetch player or a professional cuddler, whichever your dog prefers. I can also just be a treat giver if your dog prefers space. About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from a very young age. I’ve always thought that I liked spending time with animals more than people. And have always had a love for them. :) I work a part-time job that feels full time but that’s because I work with the public, however I’m trying to switch to something more flexible. Evenings work best for me but knowing ahead of time I can do mornings too. My cats have free roam as it’s equally their house, however I can put them away. If it’s your home I can do whatever is asked for me. For outside I have a lot of land but it’s open.

About: I’ve always always had a soft spot in my heart for animals. My parents have always had a ton, from a bunch of different breeds of dogs to pigs, to chameleons, to bunnies. I’ve always had experience with animals, it’s odd if I don’t have one around! I have a kitty named Nala and a Cocker Spaniel named Goose. They are my pride and joy! I feel as though pet care is just as important as self care. Animals are there for us, as our support, therefore, they should be taken care of just as well. Making sure that your animal is not only healthy, but happy is a priority to me! Having a routine and making sure that all needs are met is a must. I feel as though your home is also your pets home, therefore, enabling them to have their own space is important. Also, making sure your animal is fed and watered and stimulated and energized plays a large role. Playing with toys or running around in the yard are both great ways of stimulating the brain!

About: I have been pet sitting for family friends and people in my home town for multiple years. I have experience caring for as many as 6 animals at one time. I also have experience with elderly dogs that need more attention. I have spent time around dogs and cats my whole life. I also have experience with dogs who need medication. My child hood golden retriever is prone to seziures and has medication twice a day. I have watched her for weeks at a time. I do work tuesdays, wednesday, thursdays, and every other saturday but I can make time for your pups or cats! I currently work part time; tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and every other saturday. Willing to find a way to work around to fit your needs! I work usually a 9-5/8-4 schedule I prefer watching pets in owners home so that they can be comfortable and in an environment that they are familiar with. About: I own several animals which include cats, dogs, and a leopard gecko. I love animals, and I am good with feeding on time, bathroom breaks on time, and I love to spend quality time with animals! I am good with puppy and kitten care as well. I am a house cleaner as well, so it tends to mix in with the pet care. I am consistently taking care of myself, my house, and my animals. I walk my dog every day, I feed all of my animals at the same time every day, I keep regular vet appointments, and all of my animals are up to date on their vaccines and spay/neutering.
