About: I am not currently working so I have all the time in the world to dedicate to the pups! In general I'm quite flexible, I like to fly by the seat of my pants. Within the past 9 years my brother got a Basset Hound, (who has since passed), my parents got a German Shepherd, (who has since passed), and I got a Shepherd/Hound rescue pup. Man so I miss having pup around! I've quickly become the dog sitter because I like dogs more than people! I am very comfortable with big dogs and open to working with smaller dogs. I love taking long walks with the pups. If the dog is willing I love to teach them new things! I have all of the patience in the world for dogs. They are and will always be my number one priority at all times. I will respect and follow any rules or guidelines you have knowing full well how much work goes into training and wouldn't want to cause any set backs. I'm a stay at home mom of a 5 year boy. He goes everywhere with me and is also amazing with dogs. So if your dog just needs some company or a nice walk, I'm your girl! I care for any pet as if it were my own. Any specific directions given to me will be followed to a "T". I know how important pets are and I treat them as such.

“5 stars all the way!! The communication was thorough and always put my minds at ease about our kitty and Guinea Pig. Stephanie is the best…anyone would be lucky to have her take care ANY fur-babies.”

“Kailey was great with our dogs during the drop in visit. One of our dogs is protective and weary of new people, but he was calm and comfortable with her. We’d definitely hire her again!”

About: I will care for your dogs with ease and I will always be on time and reliable! I will give your pup the special care and attention that he or she needs. I have over 14 years of experience caring for canines and felines. Working with the needs of your dog is my top priority. I am in Albany, NY. I have a flexible schedule and I can prioritize taking care of your furry friend! I can drop by for a food and play session with your cat, or bring your dog on a 60 minute walk, and feed your dog (if needed). Pets I take care of are in the pet parent's home, rather than my own home. If there are certain routines and things you would like to share with me about best practices in your home, please let me know.

“***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.”

“Natasha did a great job with our kitties! This was our first time using the Rover app and we were a little nervous about it, but Natasha sent us updates that put us at the ease (including letting us know when we had packages delivered) and we came home to happy kitties. We will definitely reach out to her the next time we need a sitter.”

“Katrina is a mature, responsible person who quickly earned our trust. Leaving our fur babies in the care of someone else is no small decision. We feel totally confident in her sensitivity to our older dog and our new rescue dog who is still adjusting. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with cocker spaniels and german shepherds, and I love to hang out with and walk dogs now that I have moved away from home. I frequently dogsit and walk for multiple families in the area, and I have watched dogs of all ages, from 10 week old puppies to senior dogs. During the week, I can be available for drop-in visits or walks in the evening if needed in the Latham and Loudonville area. On the weekends I have more flexibility and can help outside of the Albany area. I am unable to watch pets in my own home, but am happy to do home stays. I am used to walking dogs at least once per day, if not twice, and am happy to play and hang out with them.

“Deb just watched my cats for a week while I was on vacation for a week. She always does a great job and is very thorough. I never worry about the care of my cats while she is sitting them. She sends photos of them everyday and takes care of them as they are her own pets. When getting home everything was clean and I couldn’t tell that I was even away for a week. Highly recommended.”

I am happy to take care of your dog or cat in your home with any instructions you provide. I have previously house sat for friends who had two adult huskies and we all had a great time together.

“Samantha has been personally taking care of my cavachon for a few years now and Bailey absolutely loves her. When Sammi arrives, Bailey comes running and thankfully Bailey loves to walk because Sammi is always up to take a walk with him. Sammi has spent days in our home and has always treated it as her very own leaving it spotless, even washing the sheets and remaking the bed. Bailey is our four legged son, we couldn't love him more and we know that Sammi will take excellent care of him and she can be charged with dealing with any emergencies as well. I don't worry that he'll be lost or that she won't know what to do if Bailey gets sick or needs medical care, Sammi can and will handle any and all emergencies professionally.”
