“Cheryle is great! She sent pictures during the day which made us feel very comfortable that our dog was nice and relaxed and enjoys being with Cheryle and her dog. Her house is set up very nice and the backyard too. I would highly recommend Cheryle!”

“Mark & Sylva were great hosts for my dog when we needed a few hours of care while my son toured a nearby college. They were welcoming and kind and did a great job with her. I'd happily book again if we're in Troy in the future. Thank you!”

“My dog is a bit anxious and while she’s ok w daycare usually, she’s definitely always glad to leave and bolts to her crate to sleep for hours after - it’s too much. When I picked her up from Emmaly, she was calm but alert, and not crazy thirsty and tired like she usually is when we get home from daycare. I felt safe leaving my dog w Emmaly, my dog seems to have enjoyed herself - what more can you ask for!”

“We wanted our pup to get more socializing during the day while we are at work and Maegan turned out to be perfect. She is very responsive, flexible with our drop off and pick up times, and very trustworthy. Her and her family are also very kind and sweet and they make a great home for our pup to enjoy during the day. They have a dog of their own and she watches other dogs on occasion as well and everyone gets along great because of Maegan. We can’t thank her enough for how she cares for our dog.”

“Amazing service! Communicates well with me during the day. Sends me photos and feedback. My puppy loves them and is always so happy to see them. I look forward to working with them further.”

“Awesome, awesome, awesome is all I can say about Jodi. She took care of my lab, Browser while visiting my daughter in New York. We had never used Rover.com before so we were very nervous. As soon as I met Jodi, all my anxiety went away. Her vibe was amazing. I knew I made the right choice. Her communication with us was great ahead of time, and her communication with us while Browser was with her was great. Lots of fun pictures. She asked all the right questions about taking care of him. She was very flexible with our schedule. Browser went to Jodi for 2 days. We picked him up and he was clearly happy, and when we dropped him off the next day he ran to her. Jodi made our trip so much fun because I knew Browser was having fun and well cared for. If you are in the area - don't hesitate to call on Jodi. You won't be disappointed.”

About: Freedom is my actual birth name (preferred btw) So here at Freedom Cares 🫶🏼 I believe all animals have their own unique level of care needs. I grew up with a variety of furry friends from a very young age. I remember being 3 and hiding in my Nanas room with Kittens and snuggling them trying to feed them with my (dolls play baby bottle) and. My experience with animals Includes dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys, ducks, turtles, cows, fish and more. Animals are always drawn to my calming energy, regardless of where I am. Farm, fair, friends house, walks, etc. I Firmly believe my Biological mom named me Freedom for a reason. I am a private caregiver to those with disabilities. Therefore my schedule is quite flexible. I can do drop inns, boarding, overnights, walks and more. Some of my clients even enjoy pet therapy. As long as the pet owner is up to that. 😊 As a kid I had many animals and experience with farm life. Including 4H training for dogs. I most recently have experience at a dog daycare. Where we practiced techniques from The Dog Guru. More importantly each animal/client/prospect is different. Therefore, I will follow the clients/animals routine. Whether the animals need long walks and extra attention. Or just a quick drop in and some fresh water. Or extra lovings while their owner is away. Your animal/animals will surely be taken care of.

“Emily was so professional and loving with our best buddy Ebbet. He can be shy and nervous, and Emily was incredibly patient and thoughtful giving Ebbet time and space to acclimate to a new person. She went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Ebbet loved her, and he is choosy with his love 💗”

“Sky was so wonderful to our little cat and a great person to meet! We were in town for the week and needed someone to watch our pet, she was extremely responsive and flexible even last minute.”

About: My love for animals began early on once I rescued my first childhood pet. Throughout my life I have walked and taken care of animals however, my love grew insurmountably when I rescued my first dog (Gordy) myself. Gordy and I loved walking, hiking, going on adventures, and snuggling. Unfortunately, in November 2024 he was diagnosed with a variety of complicated health problems and passed away in April 2025. That journey led me have experience in handling diabetic dogs (giving insulin, being aware of behavioral changes, and giving medication). I also have some experience/knowledge in dog training as Gordy was a canine good citizen. I am acutely aware of how to successfully walk and handle hyperactive pups and love to provide other enriching activities. I am communicative and love interacting with both dogs and humans and I find it important to gain the trust of you as I know all too well how much your pup means to you. I am a licensed mental health counselor who currently works primarily at home. I have a flexible schedule allowing plenty time for a good walk and enrichment while also providing appropriate downtime and attention. While I do live in an apartment, I have access to a number of parks in the Troy area while also willing to travel to surrounding areas for more fun.

She communicated throughout the whole day sending pictures and videos to make sure we were comfortable and knew how Willa was doing. I would definitely schedule dog sitting with Laura in the future!”

“Julie and her dog Maisey are a great fit for my dog with separation anxiety. Julie has been kind, generous and thoughtful with my needs for my dog, Morby. I am so excited to work with Julie in the future. Her dog, Maisey barked for a couple minutes when she first met Morby and I but once she settles and gets to know you/your dog she’s extremely chill and sweet. Her barking didn’t feel aggressive so it didn’t concern me or Morby and her presence is greatly appreciated. Thank you Julie for opening your doors and letting Morby hang with y’all.”

“Madeline (and Sam!) made sure Patch felt right at home. I appreciated her care for him and the fenced yard the boys had to play in together was perfect. Nice tall fence so no “mama fears” of possible fence jumping. Madeline provides a nice safe space and Sam provided Patch with plenty of exercise (and vice versa I think!)”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who genuinely loves dogs more than people (and I’m only kind of kidding 😄). I’ve had dogs my whole life, a black Cocker Spaniel as a child and currently have 2 high energy loving Goldendoodles so caring for them is second nature to me. Whether your pup is playful and high-energy or a snuggle bug who just wants cuddles and to chill out, I’ll treat them like my own. I’m attentive, patient, and always prioritize safety, comfort, and love. I am always home so we'll have lots of play time and my full attention. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and total peace of mind knowing your dog is in the best hands (and probably getting spoiled a little too!). Let’s set up a meet & greet—your pup might not want to leave! 🐾 I am with my dogs 24/7 as I currently work from home. My hours are very flexible as I work for myself so I spend a LOT of time with my energetic doggos and will spend so much time with your furry friends as well! My home is fenced in and enclosed so no worries about having your dog get out or get lost. There's an inground pool with a gate, a large grassy area, and a big deck with stairs so there isn't an easy way to get down or out of the house. I am a caregiver to my father who has ALS but he's pretty low maintenance in terms of care. He LOVES dogs has always had a dog so your pup will get extra love!
