About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. You and your pups safety and happiness are my top priority. If your pup wants pets for an hour, I'll pet them for an hour, if they want to play fetch or other games, I'll do that! There isnt anything im not willing to try to ensure your best friend feels as comfortable and continues with their daily schedule the best of my ability- special walking requests (time, amount, distance, frequency), special dietary needs or medication administration, etc. Will allow on furniture and provide any "treats" that you request. But will also ensure that no pets on furniture, no people food, no treats, etc if thats what you desire as well. Either way, you give me the word and ill be more than happy to continue the same care your pet receives at home, no questions asked! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
