“Kat was great! She was wonderful with our dog and wonderful with our 3 young children, too. Everyone warmed up to her quickly and I definitely plan to be a returning customer.”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I was 5 years old, and I’ve loved them ever since. I have taken care of my own dog frequently for 7 years, but I have also taken care of dogs for relatives, ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I am a graduate student at Indiana University, so my class schedule is much lighter. I am able to walk the dogs during the day, and at night. In your home, I can crate your dogs as well as keep them safe and comfortable while making sure that there is nothing dangerous to them.

About: I’m the kind of sitter who loves your pets like family—because to me, they are. I’ve cared for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m always learning more about their behavior so I can give them the best, most thoughtful care. I’m patient, playful, and love building trust with each animal I meet. When I’m babysitting, once the kid is in bed, I usually end up curled up with the family pet (not saying who I like more—that wouldn’t be fair). And if I ever disappear at someone’s house, you can bet I’ve found the pet and made a new best friend. Whether it’s walks, snuggles, structure, or quiet company, I’m here to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m currently an athletic training student at Valparaiso University and doing an internship over the summer, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m often able to work around short-notice requests or odd hours, so don’t hesitate to reach out—even if it looks like I’m booked or unavailable. I’ll always do my best to make it work for you and your pets! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets. I’m probably someone who does a little too much research to make sure every detail is right—whether it’s proper walking manners, keeping pets safe in different temperatures, or understanding the best foods and treats for their health. I want you to feel confident that your furry family member is in knowledgeable, caring hands and that their environment is always secure, comfortable, and loving.

About: I had many dogs growing up that I took care of, as well has helping my grandpa take care of his senior dog for many years. I work full time on third shift, meaning during the day I can be pretty available! I just need at least a days notice so I can adjust my sleep schedule :) I have two cats of my own and cannot take pets to my home, so walking and in home visits are preferred! I can be very flexible in terms of times/days.

About: Many of my neighbors have come to me when in need of a pet sitter for about 5 years now. I've taken care of multiple different dog and cat breeds whether they were my own or someone elses. I spend time occasionally at my local humane society because animals truly have a soft spot in my heart. My summer is completely empty as of now so I'm willing to take on a variety of different schedules. If things were to change like another part-time job, it is guaranteed my schedule will say otherwise. I do not provide any pet sitting in my own home so that it doesn't inflict any anxiety on my cats with animals coming and going. But as a trusted sitter in your house, the area will be kept nice and tidy. I will do exactly as your directions say and give more than necessary affection your animal needs! Considering dogsitting, I prefer to walk animals in wooded trails or nice neighborhoods.

About: I currently have 2 senior pups who I’ve raised since they were puppies. I love dogs of all kinds and conditions. I’m willing to do whatever to make your puppy happy and healthy. I am a full-time IU student on summer break. I will be here and available in Bloomington until July 12 and I will have a lot if availability while I’m here ☺️ I am very comfortable with animals and will listen to what they want and need. I am an attentive listener and will follow your every direction down to the letter. I know dogs and cats can be sensitive and the smallest change in routine could cause distress so I make sure that I understand what they need to be comfortable.

About: Pets have been a part of my life since childhood. I am experienced in caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I've cared for kittens and puppies, elederly and post-surgery animals, snugglers, leave-me-aloners, runners, fetchers, and tug of war champs. I love them all and welcome different personalities, needs, and preferences. Can't wait to meet your furry friend! Every evening is available beginning at 4:45pm. Saturdays and Sundays are completely open. In addition, I am free between 9:45am and 12pm and any time after 1:15pm on both Wednesdays and Fridays. Love to sit for petting and belly rub session, excited to take walks or play, happy to feed and give medicine. Whatever your pet needs!

About: Hi, I’m Rexton — I’ve been caring for animals for over a decade, starting with my childhood dogs and now raising a cat of my own. Pets have always been a steady part of my life, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of walking, sitting, and bonding with all kinds of animals — especially shy or senior pets who need a little extra care. During college, I was the go-to pet sitter for my friends whenever they were away, and I always treated their animals like my own. I have hands-on experience with elderly dogs, including giving medication and helping manage mobility issues with patience and empathy. I’ve also spent a lot of time around more sensitive or anxious pets and know how to build trust at their pace. To me, pets are more than just companions — they’re the kind of friends you can always lean on. Every animal has a unique personality, and once you’ve earned their trust, there’s something truly special about the bond that forms. I’ll take the time to get to know what your pet loves (and what they don’t!), so you can feel confident they’re in good hands while you’re away. I’m currently preparing for Law School, but will have plenty of time outside of my class schedule to attend to your pets needs. Typically, the early mornings and mid-afternoons will be my most accessible times. I offer drop-in service to my clients homes. I know allowing a stranger into your home can be a scary process. I guarantee to respect both the boundaries of your household along with the attentiveness that your pet needs while you’re away.

“Adrienne has taken amazing care of my Georgia pup all summer during my work days! She was always aware of Georgia's needs, made sure she wasn't in the heat for too long, refilled her water. You can tell Adrienne loves animals, and I am so appreciative of her. Thank you SO much for easing my mind while I work and treating Georgia like she was your own!”

About: I have taken care of my own pets since I was young including dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, and hamsters. I understand how important your furry friends are to you and I want to make sure I can be the best substitute for them. As I am a student-athlete and work part time, pet care is something I like to work into my spare time. Taking care of animals is a passion of mine so I like to try and make time for it each week. I care for pets just as I would want mine to be cared for, making sure I can be the best substitute for you. I am great at communicating how your pet is doing and can be a safe environment to build your pets trust.

About: I took care of my own dog for about 10 years. After she unfortunately passed away due to old age, I craved to be around dogs again and began dog sitting for friends and family with one of my best friends. Through this I have walked, fed, played with, etc many different dog types and breeds. In the summers I watch over many dogs as their families go away for weekends and vacations. I would like to continue this as the school year starts up. I am a college student, but only have 2 classes a day and can be with your furry friends for quite awhile and give them lots of attention if need be. I will respectfully follow any rules you have for your furry friends. Whether that is to stay within a fenced area, keep them crated, let them roam free, whatever it may be. I know all dogs are different and I will respect whatever the owner’s rules are for their pet.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, family and my own. Enjoy every moment that I can while giving them the best care possible. It happens to be every day. I have cats of my own and I help with all the things that they need. My family used to have a dog and I would help with that. I have been around cattle and horses as well. At our place if pretty low key. Cats can go in and out. But we feed them at certain times. For clients I let them tell me what they want done with there animals and I just follow the instructions.

“Cindy and her daughter did an absolutely amazing job walking Travi! They were super friendly, patient, and clearly have a natural way with dogs. Travi was so happy and comfortable with them, which gave us complete peace of mind. Their communication was excellent — keeping us updated throughout the walk and ensuring everything went smoothly. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they walk, treating them as if they were their own. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Cindy and her daughter to anyone looking for reliable, caring dog walkers!”

Anneke V.
“Anneke loves animals of all kinds, especially dogs. As a young child, she was an integral part of training and caring for my dog Jack. She exudes the same love and responsibility for her family’s dog Toby. She has experience with friendly pets and patience with those that take some time to warm up. Anneke is a capable and conscientious caregiver. She enjoys walking dogs and playing stimulating games and activities. She is dependable for regular feedings and scheduled routine visits that your pet will come to look forward to. I highly recommend Anneke be entrusted with the care and wellbeing of your pet.”

McKenzi B.
“McKenzi has watched my 9 year old bulldog consistently for about 3 years now. She does a great job at sending photos and updates while I’m away on travels. My dog, Lucy, struggles with anxiety and has to take daily medication for her joint pain. McKenzi is always consistent and provides the needed care. She also goes above the standard expectations by giving extra TLC when needed. Lucy looks forward to having her over anytime I’m away and I know my beloved pet is in good hands with her.”

Sara C.

“She does great! Very friendly and calm with our high energy dog. He really likes her and is happy when he realizes now is time for their walk!”

Kiah R.
“Kiah is a trusted friend whenever I need someone to watch my cat while I’m away. She has been a very reliable sitter, making sure to fill his food and water bowls, check on/clean his litter box, and play with him. Most importantly, she passes the vibe check right away with my furry friend as he instantly wants Kiah to hold him like a baby.”

Lucy D.Star Sitter
“Lucy has stayed in my home for multiple days to care for my 3 dogs - one of whom was elderly and unwell, one who is high needs, and one who is rambunctious. They can be a challenge with their different food and medication needs, one of them can be aggressive when the mood suits him, and they all demand constant attention. She handled them like a pro! She also left my home in excellent condition. We could barely even tell she was here. I would trust Lucy to stay in my house and care for my dogs again without hesitation!”

Rachel B.

“I felt very comfortable leaving my Ember with Rachel. She genuinely cared about her and was wonderful about providing updates!”

Mandy S.
“Mandy is a true pet lover who has helped care for cats and dogs, and took great care of her elderly cat for many years. I had to go out for a work trip for an overnight, and had asked her to check on my pups. She did, and everyone loved every minute of it! She's friendly and always enjoys a little furry company from time to time. She cares deeply about animals and their welfare, and is very detail oriented. She can definitely be counted on to help take care of your furry friends!”

Rexton J.
“Always takes great care of my two cats (Collin and Bloom). Anytime I’m out of town I can rely on him to make sure they’re okay. I can tell they love him too by the way they are so excited when they see him.”

Brooke is doing great with Coco. Coco likes her. I needed someone who could handle Coco’s fear based aggression towards other dogs. Brooke handles Coco well and is not afraid to step in and help Coco settle down, and to take her away from whatever has over stimulated her. We are always glad to see Brooke come back!
