About: Hi! My name is Emma and I am a recent UW Platteville graduate. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant and have worked many summers before at other veterinary clinics, gaining experience to improve my veterinary school application. I am currently taking a gap year between work and veterinary school! I have experience with working with all ages, personalities, and breeds of both dogs and cats in a clinic setting as well as through other pet sitting visits and working in a dog daycare. My schedule will change after August as that is when I start school again. I recently in April 2022, rescued my German shepherd lab pup, Beau! He’s a great, big goofball and I love him dearly! So I am available all evenings, all day on weekends and between 4:30AM-8:00AM during the week for morning drop ins! About: My first ever job in high school was working for a doggy daycare, training, and grooming facility. This is where my love for animals of every kind bloomed, and i personally have a horse, two dogs, and a cat at my home away from college that I miss very much. At my knoxville home I adore taking my friend's dogs hiking and to the dog park to fulfill that itch of spending time with furry friends. I am a student doing rover part time during the summer and I volunteer at a hospital in town on Monday every week for two hours and an animal shelter with kitties for two hours every Thursday evening. I am very meticulous about maintaining the perfect care for my pets and yours. I understand how important these members of the family are, and I do very well when given a specific list. My love for the outdoors and hiking specifically complement the energetic pups, but I am just as happy to relax at home to study or read.
