About: I’ve owned pets all my life, usually more than one. From shorkies to Great Danes to calico cats, I love animals! We’ve got a fenced in yard, and I love taking advantage of the parks around town for walks! Just looking to get out more. I’m a stay at home mom, so I have lots of flexibility! I have no set schedule but have no issues starting one up any time. I have a dog, cat and baby, all of which are comfortable with other animals. Plus we have a fenced in yard and crates available.

About: My family has fostered dogs for the past few years, and we’ve had at least one family dog since I was born. I pet sit for my neighbors and family friends often, both cats and dogs alike, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities! On the daily I take care of my family dogs. I take them on morning walks, make sure they don’t eat each other’s food, and give them PLENTY of play time, pets, and loves! I’m also well-versed in caring for anxious dogs, as our medium-size dog is very nervous at most hours of the day. I don’t believe in using fear tactics to punish dogs, such as time-outs or spraying them with water. Instead, I promote positive behaviors by engaging with them happily and giving them treats (if permitted) when they do something they’re supposed to do! With my clients, I take pets on walks or do a scheduled play time for as long as is requested, and I make sure they’re comfortable and fed every time I visit! If overnight or all-day stay is needed for particularly clingy pets, I’m completely open to discussing hours for that, and will never leave a pet alone or push it away if it needs a person there!

About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for the past three years and have been the main caretaker for my own two dogs and cat for the past ten. I have been a veterinary clinic assistant for the past year and have also had experience with exotic animals abroad. I am pursuing a career in animal care and appreciate any opportunity to further my experience and spend time caring for your furry family! I am a full time student at UTK and participate in army ROTC, however I can be flexible and make time, especially on the weekends. I can care for pets in any situation, kenneled or not. I am very flexible and can change any care preferences to your needs and/or standards.

About: We have been dog parents for the past 6 years to our corgi Aspen, our terrier/collie mix Abby, and our blue heeler mix Kairi. We have experience managing pet medications, and have trained all of our pups on leash walking, sit, lay down, and other special tricks (go to your bed, shake, roll over). Leah currently works part time and creates her own work schedule, and Keoni is a nurse who works up to 3 days a week. We have plenty of time to care for your pet throughout the week! We have a newly fenced yard, perfect for playtime with the pups. We are able to provide care in your home as well. We will walk, play with, feed, and follow all care instructions in order to provide the best care to your fur child

About: I am currently based in Knoxville and my nightly rate is set very low right now because I expect to ship out to the Navy around September 1st. In the meantime I am looking for steady pet sitting and housing opportunities as my current living arrangement will be changing soon. For four months I lived and worked on a glacier in Alaska caring for 280 Alaskan huskies, including plenty of puppy care. Over the years I have also worked with many friends’ pets, both dogs and cats of all personalities. The moment we lock eyes, even with the shy ones, we somehow always become instant best friends. Maybe it is because I was born in the Year of the Dog in the Chinese zodiac. It probably does not hurt. When it comes to house sitting, I will maintain a clean and tidy home, water plants as needed, and keep everything in good order. I love cats and their intuition, intelligence, and humor always amaze me. I am affectionate but firm and I do not let them get away with too much mischief.
