About: We are a dog-loving family of 3 that will care for your pups like they were our own (which means lots of love)! Also, we have a great property for pet care, so your dog(s) will feel like they're on their own private doggie get-away vacation! My husband works from home and I homeschool my 14-year-old son on the weekdays, so one of us is always around the home to care for your pets! We have a large solarium with big windows attached to the front of our house, which we use as a doggy room - out two friendly dogs love hanging out in here and often chill and nap on the staircase platforms, barking at squirrels and what not, observing the front yard's happenings. It is their safe place. It has an attached doggy door which leads outside to a secure, fenced in area.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was in college. I’ve been looking after pups ever since. My current best friend is a theee-legged mutt named Jeff and he loves when company comes over. I’m a freelance editor who works from home so I set my own schedule. I keep a pretty regular routine with my own dog. We shouldn’t have any trouble adapting to your pet’s needs. About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.

I currently work in the dairy industry but have experience caring for all livestock species. I have BSA and MS degrees in Animal and Dairy Science. I’m available mostly during weekends and evenings during the week however my job is flexible and I can do drop in visits during my lunch, as well as on my way to work in the mornings. I’m happy to provide drop in visits and walks in client’s homes. As mentioned previously, I do have animals of my own and would be open to bringing a dog to my house if they are friendly and play well with others. I have a fenced in backyard that my dogs love. I cannot bring other cats into my house due to my own cat’s distaste for others, but he is fine with dogs.
