About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.

My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

About: We are a dog-loving family of 3 that will care for your pups like they were our own (which means lots of love)! Also, we have a great property for pet care, so your dog(s) will feel like they're on their own private doggie get-away vacation! My husband works from home and I homeschool my 14-year-old son on the weekdays, so one of us is always around the home to care for your pets! We have a large solarium with big windows attached to the front of our house, which we use as a doggy room - out two friendly dogs love hanging out in here and often chill and nap on the staircase platforms, barking at squirrels and what not, observing the front yard's happenings. It is their safe place. It has an attached doggy door which leads outside to a secure, fenced in area.

About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. I’m a very active person and frequently walk or run with my own dogs, so if you’re just looked for the occasional walk to get your pup’s energy out, I’m your gal! I have 15+ years of experience caring for pets of my own and am comfortable with any breed or size as well as a few other species besides cats and dogs. I am good at reading behavior, keeping up with any training you ask me to, and administering any medications or special instructions needed I am currently on summer break so I am completely available all day to spend time with your loving pet. I do have pets of my own that are friendly so I can either bring your pets to me, or make trips to spend some time during the day with yours. I typically feed my pets twice a day but can adapt to whatever feeding schedule you need. With my own dog still being young, we go out a minimum of 3 times a day but usually more. I have experience administering oral medications and being extra cautious with my now passed boxer who has had multiple knee surgeries, to insulin shots for my now passed 20 year old diabetic, severely anxious cat. About: Specifically I understand the needs of French Bulldogs in certain weather conditions. I also understand other short legged friends that need accommodations and have restrictions such as jumping off furniture or when playing not throwing things too high. I run my own business but have a flexible schedule. I am also a grad student who is about to graduate and will open more time in my schedule. Currently I am available various times during the week with a lot of availability on the weekends. My pup has accommodations in every room of the house. I make sure he has the right food bowls for his breed (elevated and tilted). He also has a variety of toys and doggy door to go sunbathe or potty anytime of the day. I understand cleaning up after our furry friends and making sure they have exactly what they need.

About: Grown up with dogs, cats, ducks, etc. Had a beagle for 15 years, and I've taken care of many friends and family's pets over the years. I have experience with puppies up to senior dogs. I run a small business on the weekends, so sometimes I work 1 or 2 Sundays. But I am generally available Sunday - Wednesday for walking. I have rescue cats and ducks so I take care of them in mornings and evenings. If a dog ever needs to stay with me I have a fully fenced half acre lot they can run around, not including the 1/3 acre fenced off for my ducks. And my cats have been raised alongside dogs their whole life.
About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.
About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. I’m a very active person and frequently walk or run with my own dogs, so if you’re just looked for the occasional walk to get your pup’s energy out, I’m your gal! I also have a fenced in backyard so if you’re interested in a play date, message me and we can work something out! My boys love new friends. Unfortunately, my cat does not do well with other cats, but he LOVES dogs. He was a rescue as a kitten from the clinic I worked in, so he grew up around the dog boarding kennels and 100% thinks he’s one of them. I know Rover is for dogs and cats, but if you or anyone you know is looking for assistance with farm animals, I can help there too. I currently work in the dairy industry but have experience caring for all livestock species. I have BSA and MS degrees in Animal and Dairy Science. I’m available mostly during weekends and evenings during the week however my job is flexible and I can do drop in visits during my lunch, as well as on my way to work in the mornings. “I have boarded my dog with Kristy twice now, and it’s been a great experience both times! My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

If boarding at my house, I live with my boyfriend who also has a relatively flexible schedule and can provide care during any hours that I may be away. In my home, pets are treated like family! I have a large yard for playtime, two friendly dogs who love having company, and plenty of toys to keep everyone entertained. I always make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, and love while they’re with me. I’m comfortable accommodating different needs and routines, whether that means crating your dog, sticking to a specific feeding or medication schedule, or giving them extra one on one attention. If your dog is used to snuggling up at night, they’re more than welcome to sleep in bed with us and our pups! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I will follow any house rules, schedules, or care instructions you have to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. I love going on walks and am always happy to take dogs on adventures, get in plenty of playtime, or simply provide companionship and cuddles based on their personality and needs.
