“We were soooo happy with James! We were a little worried because our dog only had family members take care of her. But our dog Cara loved James! We were so happy they became friends. James was an awesome dog sitter and we will definitely use him again.”

About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was little! I have a huge soft spot for all animals. My family and friends always rely on me to care for their houses and pets! With a sudden and unexpected loss of a loved one recently, I decided to take some time off and be more focused on myself. That being said, my schedule is extremely open and flexible! I have a very high energy boarder collie so working with energetic dogs are not a problem for me whatsoever! I understand every animal should be getting their energy out and enjoy their lives!
“Absolutely fantastic! Our rather anxious poodles settled in with her quickly, she did an amazing job taking care of them and her photo updates were adorable. She also did a great job communicating with us and coordinating. House was A++ after her two week stay. It was a huge releif to have such a wonderful person taking care of our dogs while we were out of town!”

“Rebecca is amazing! Our dogs loved her! She was kind and got to know them. She was perfect and really cared about them. I would ask her again to sit with them anytime she really understood them and their needs. I knew they were in good hands and did not worry. That was a great feeling to know they were safe❤️❤️”
“Charlotte was an absolutely amazing dog sitter. I would hire her again in a heart beat. She was so sweet and the perfect match for our two huskies. One of our huskies is blind and pretty timid, and she even won her over, which can be a pretty difficult feat. I can’t thank her enough. Our dogs are probably going to be disappointed that we are home since she took such great care of them. We would highly recommend Charlotte.”

“Allyse and Cooper were great! She took great care of our Keela, sending regular updates and pictures. She was very easy to work with and very flexible. Would gladly book again!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong pet owner to both dogs and cats, which has given me a deep understanding of their unique personalities and needs. I also gained hands-on experience working at an animal day care facility, where I cared for pets of all sizes and temperaments. In addition, I’ve provided pet sitting for family and friends, building trust through reliable and loving care. My background ensures your pets will feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. I currently offer house stays, walks, and drop in visits any day of the week. Since I work part-time, I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, care, and love they deserve. I’ve always had a true love for animals, and caring for them is something that brings me so much joy. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just giving them comfort and attention, I enjoy every moment I get to spend with pets. My goal is to provide excellent, trustworthy care so both you and your furry friends feel happy and at ease.
“Aeris has a very gentle spirit about her, and I loved that. She stayed in our home with our two Basset Hounds for a week over the Christmas holiday. Aeris was very conscientious in following instructions, asking appropriate questions and keeping me updated as this is the first time I've ever left these two pups. She didn't just check on the dogs to make sure they were safe, she interacted with them, took them out for play time in the yard, and spent cuddle time with them, including them sleeping on the bed with her like they do with us, which they loved. She is kind and very mature about following through with discipline that I requested for my younger dog who can be quite a handful. She handled him beautifully. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

“Alicia was great with our silly crazy pup. She recognized that he is definitley our fur baby and took care of him just the same. She was GREAT with wanting to understand his day to day and giving great updates while we were out of town. We could tell when we came home, based on his behavior, and no torn up toys that she was very attentive to him while she was here. Thank you again Alicia!”

“No words for Tiffany. She's the sweetest human and Bailey loved he so dearly. Everything was super smooth, sent us photos all the time because she knew wanted to see him. I would hire her again 1000x more. First rober experience and she made it the best. Thank you, Tiffany.”

About: I have a lot of love for animals. I am interested in dog walking or taking care of dogs/cats when you just need a little vacation to yourself or a busy day ahead! I have two years of experience with dog sitting. I have taken dogs on walks, stayed over night at the owner's home, fed them, play with them, and clean up after them when they have accidents. I have also taken dogs to vet appointments. I am not afraid of any type of dogs. They have this effect on me that makes me fall in love with them or feel better when I'm feeling down. I’m currently off of my main job as a special needs aide at a middle school as it is summer time! I have a lot of free time right now. I always want pets to feel safe and secure when they’re with me. I like using a soft voice with dogs, unless told to be more stern by the owners. I have experience with dogs that have been abused and are more timid, I usually sit on the floor with them until they trust me enough to come up to me.

“Thank you Alexandria for taking care of our rambunctious cattle dogs for a week at our house! We returned to happy and healthy pups. So glad they were able to stay at home where they are comfortable with a new friend to play with, plus a special trip to the dog park!”

“Jennifer was a wonderful companion and housesitter for our dog Inyo for 5 days. He is active, playful, and sometimes reactive with other dogs. Jennifer’s deep experience with dogs (both as an owner and a caregiver through SPCA) gives her the experience to see a dog clearly— to be able to treat resistance or challenge with insight and humor. I recommend her highly.”
New Hope pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our experience with Josie was perfect. She was very attentive to Hazel, especially, in dealing with her arthritis issues and problems with maintaining her balance on the slick hardwood floors and kept us informed of related issues. We were very appreciative of her response to a somewhat last minute decision to take off for Texas. We are gladly giving her stay with our house and pets 5 stars and we look forward to any possible future stays.
