Kathy did a wonderful job not only caring for my cats as if they were her own, but her communication with me was above and beyond. I felt very secure that my cats were well taken care of during our vacation and she made a sincere effort to befriend and nuture our pets when we couldn’t be there. I would highly recommend and will be booking Kathy again on our next trip!

About: I have taken care of pets for over ten years. I have earned the trust of repeat clients and the love of dogs AND cats. I take my job very seriously; I know what a privilege it is to come into someone’s home and to be responsible for a family member. I am a self employed artist who can take my work anywhere. My time is not restricted and therefore walking, meal times and potty breaks are not a problem to maintain. My availability in general is optimal for long stays or last minute bookings. I am extremely respectful of my clients’ homes and adhere strictly to their instructions. I treat the environment as a place of employment; and I aim to leave the home clean, neat and as the clients left it.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve cared for a wide range of pets — from cats and dogs to small animals. I have three dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of routine, patience, and genuine love when it comes to pet care. My dogs currently live with my parents 2 miles down the road from me! My experience includes handling multiple pets at once, caring for senior dogs, and understanding different personalities and energy levels. I treat every pet like family and always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work early mornings at Hershey Hospital and typically finish around 4:30 PM, which gives me plenty of time for evening walks, drop-ins, and overnight care if needed. On my days off, I’m fully available for daytime care as well. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets get the care and attention they deserve! For the safety and comfort of your pets, I care for them in their own familiar environment — your home — where they feel most relaxed and secure. I follow all of your instructions carefully to keep their routine as normal as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs they may have. I always prioritize their well-being and treat your home and pets with the utmost respect and care.

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs, I was the kid who wanted to meet every pet I came across, and that passion has only grown into adulthood. Along with having my own two dogs and cat, I've spent years caring for the pets of friends and family, treating each one as if they were my own. I also worked as a stablehand at a local farm, where I cared for a wide variety of animals—including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, goats, cows, and even swans. I've also volunteered with dog walking programs in the city, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. As a pet owner myself, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved companion with someone new. That's why my goal is to provide the same love, patience, and attention that I would want for my own pets. I believe communication, reliability, and attention to detail are incredibly important when caring for animals, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cozy couch cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Caring for animals has always been more than a job to me—it's something I truly enjoy, and I would love to help you! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work a typical 9–5 during the week and have some flexibility for evening visits, but I primarily focus on pet care on weekends. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet and provide reliable, attentive care while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they're able to stick to their normal routine, so I always do my best to follow each owner's instructions and provide care that's tailored to their pet's needs. Whether I'm stopping by for visits, going on walks, or caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll keep up with feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course provide plenty of attention and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

amazing! we booked the day before for 3 drop in’s for one day on saturday- super last minute- because of a last minute work related trip! this was my first time ever using rover and i was so anxious and worried but Tynea was great! we have a doggy cam & a security cam, and we could see healani really liked her! she was super tired after each walk and/or doggy park visit! Tynea dropped in 3 times, and followed the note i left her perfectly, including when to give her a CBD calm treat, and when to give her a kong filled with peanut butter! my dog has separation anxiety, and it’s extremely rare when i have to leave her alone, or she cannot travel or come with me to things, so it’s really important she’s calm and having fun! healani had so much fun and was so happy when we came back but clearly tired from the day and knocked out a little after! a huge thank you! Tynea’s communication was great and took so much worry off our shoulders with tons of photos and updates! definitely recommend and will book again if we need to!!!!

About: (200+ service w/ a 4.93 rating on WAGapp) I have been taking care of dogs since I was about 9 years old since I moved from New York to Pennsylvania and started off with a American pit-bull and so on. I have a natural love and care for all animals but there’s definitely something special about dogs the love/affection and loyalty is special. I enjoy every aspect from feeding to walking to playing to giving them affection and receiving theirs as well. :) As of now this is one my main focuses and I’m enoying this journey as I grow as an Artist. My desire as I am journeying through this form of service is to grow in this field and nurture it so I can pass it on to my daughter. She’s the ultimate affectionate lover of Dogs and all creatures :) Well tending for your loved one is a big responsibility that I take personally with honor and joy. Entrusting someone that’s apart of your family to a temporary stranger is serious. Nurturing and protecting them as if they were my own is in my mind innately.

Myra did a great job dropping in and making sure Zuko got the attention he needs. Zuko had an accident at one point and Myra did her best cleaning and rinsing him off in the downstairs shower, which we very much appreciated. Zuko is a super picky eater and very particular with whom he receives care, but he seems to get along well with Myra based on the photos from their time together. Overall, we’re very pleased with her care and accommodations.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in New Holland choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in New Holland with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Holland. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
