About: I have extensive experience caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, starting with my first cat, Rosie, and over time I’ve gained hands-on experience with both kittens and senior cats. I’ve raised four kittens (three rescues) myself, so I’m very familiar with the patience, attention, and consistency needed for young pets. Additionally, I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, through the care of my own pups and friends’. I work as a Medical Assistant full time on weekdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, but my evenings and weekends are wide open, giving me plenty of flexibility to care for pets. I’m based in Utica and am happy to travel as needed for drop-in visits, walks, or longer stays. This schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care while being attentive to pets’ needs. I provide care either in my pet-friendly, secure residence (keycard access) or in the client’s home, depending on their needs. I am flexible and attentive to any special requests, and I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medications and managing special diets. About: Hi, I’m Emily. I grew up with all kinds of pets and have always had animals in my life, so taking care of them just comes naturally to me. I’m starting school for radiology in September, so my schedule is pretty open right now and I’d love to help however I can. I’ve taken care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years, and I genuinely love being around animals. I’m reliable, patient, and careful to follow any instructions exactly as given. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities—whether they’re energetic, shy, or need a little extra care. About: I've taken care of dogs as long as I can remember, but have been doing it as a side job since I was about 12. I love all dogs, whether they are big, small, old, or young. I am currently working in the morning and early afternoons, so evening and night (walks, check-ins, etc.) would be ideal for my schedule at the moment! I have a large unfenced yard and a jittery, but friendly pup that would love to get to know yours! I also have access to yards that are fenced in!:)

“Sara was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I took a trip down to NYC for his birthday for 4 days and let me just say I am so glad I booked with Sara. I had never used Rover before so the idea of having someone I didn’t know in my house and around my cats (who are my children) scared me at first. Sara came a few days before our booking to meet everyone and have me show her where everything was and any little details. I gave her a key to my door and from there on everything was taken care of. She came twice a day to feed them, played with them, even stayed and hung out with them for bit gave them extra attention until THEY got sick of HER (which was so nice to know they were being loved). She sent multiple pictures of each of them eating and playing twice a day and at the end she put my key under the mat. I can’t get over how easy this experience was and I’m excited to have someone to watch over my kids in the future!❤️”

About: I've taken care of dogs most of my life. My friends jokingly call me the dog whisperer. I have experience with everything from potty training to surgical rehab and medicine administration. Nighttime visits and Long walks are no sweat. I'm also very neat and clean so any messes made by your pups are no problem at all. My schedule is currently open 7 days a week. If for any reason I am not available pet owners will be made aware before scheduling any services. I recently lost both my pups to cancer. Thorn was almost 15, and my girl Rain was almost 13. Being around other dogs is helping me cope with their loss. My home yard is very large (over an acre), and fully fenced in. Dogs also don't have any furniture restrictions in my home. They're welcome to sit or sleep wherever they like. If sitting in your home I abide by your rules for everything. Dinner time, kinds of treats, or walks schedules are all set by you.
