I recently moved to New York from Massachusetts and bring 2 years of experience working at dog daycares. I've grown up with dogs my entire life and my professional experience has deepened my understanding of dog behavior, body language and individual personalities. Working in daycare taught me how to recognize when dogs are happy, anxious, overstimulated, or in need of some space, allowing me to provide a safe and comfortable environment for every dog in my care. I'm patient, attentive and genuinely passionate about making sure your pets feel loved and well cared for while you're away.

I provide pet care in the client’s home and focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I follow given instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any other specific care their pet requires. I also understand the importance of keeping pets safe and secure, including making sure doors, gates, and other exits are properly closed and secured. From my experience working at dog daycares, I’m very mindful of safety and making sure pets don’t accidentally get out. Since I have a cat of my own, I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality and needs.

Amazing pet sitter! Emily was amazing with my cats and made sure they were taken care of and loved when I was away. She provided pictures throughout her visit and had excellent communication the entire time. Even though my cats can be skittish around new people they loved Emily! I cannot recommend Emily enough! Leaving our animals is always stressful, but Emily made me feel completely at ease the entire time I was at the hospital. Emily took my dog out multiple times and fed her, along with my two cats. One of the cats is elderly and requires seizure medication twice a day, which can be a challenge for some, but Emily handled it like an absolute professional with total patience and care. I received regular updates, photos, and happy reports that showed just how well-loved and looked after the animals were. If you need a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate pet sitter who isn't afraid to handle medical routines, Emily is the best!
I absolutely recommend Emily for any pet sitting needs!! Normally vacations are difficult for my fiancé and I because we have 8 animals that we take care of (5 cats and 3 large dogs). Emily made sure all of our animals were taken care of for the week we were gone- feeding schedule, walks, medications/topical ointments as needed, cleaning the litter, and picking up accidents if they occurred. Not only did she provide great care but she was so loving towards all the animals! Our pets can be very anxious of new people but LOVED Emily. She gave them cuddles and all the love they needed until we got back home. If you have a pet sitting need I HIGHLY recommend Emily!
Emily has check all of our boxes, she always responds within minutes. Sends update photos without asking. Cleans up any unexpected accidents without complaint. Our pup had gotten sick while we were away and she made sure she was comfortable and well taken care of until we got back. Emily was on time with medications, ointments, potty time, and of course hourly cuddles. Ive never had a sitter where I didnt panic every time they were let outside and that alone is worth calling her every time. Highly recommend!

I currently have a flexible schedule and have plenty of availability throughout the week for drop-ins and dog walks. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away.
