“We used Rover for the first time through Avery and everything went very well! We were happy that our puppy had her little ones to play with. Avery was quick to respond and Lyla came home smelling great. We will be using her again!”

“Kim was absolutely the best!! She took such good care of my girl! My Kaycee is a bit timid and scares easily and Kim took her time letting Kaycee get comfortable and gave her extra loving! I was able to go to my work convention and relax knowing Kaycee was in such good hands!!”

“Jessica is great! My old dog is a bit needy and she was so sweet, meeting him where he’s at and not complaining about giving him extra attention. My kids and I all loved that she sent daily updates with photos. We will definitely check in with Jessica next time we need a sitter!”

“We can’t say enough about how great Dawn was with our two little dogs. They stayed with her for the first time for 5 days at the end of April. Since both are senior dogs, one is 16 and one is 14, we were a little concerned about how well they would do. And unfortunately, one morning, one of the dogs woke up having some rather serious issues. But Dawn was right on it! She immediately put him in the car and rushed him to MedVet, as we would have done. She called us on the way there, very calmly explained the situation and continued to keep us informed the entire time. She brought him home with medication and continued to give it to him until we could return the following day. All in all, as scary as it was, we couldn’t have asked for anyone to be more attentive or caring. We will definitely be leaving our two dogs with her again and have learned to trust that she is a true and kindhearted dog person. And by the way, all turned out well.”

“Michelle is the nicest pet sitter I never met before, she keep us updated with tons of photos every day and let us feel extremely safe when we are not close to my dog. My dog looks happy through out the stay and eat exactly what I told her to feed. Before she give my dog treats, she even texted us and asked us if it is okay to give him this and that. I would highly recommend her as your pet sitter no matter long or short stay.”

“Nancy has been great with ou senior dog. She makes sure he feels comfortable and safe. Nancy takes him potty often especially because he's a senior dog. She is super flexible and has great communication. Both of her pupps do a great job with Domi as well. We will continue using her as long as she keeps Rovering.”

“Alycia always provide great care for our 11 year old pug/chihaua mix. Cady had a great time hanging with her dog and the guest dog. She also provided regular update photos--always a comfort to see your dog at rest or play!”

“Hazbleydy I. & her husband were great! My dog can be very anxious and is usually not fond of new people but she had a great time at their house. Hazbleydy kept me updated with pictures the entire time, and even went out to get supplies for my dog that had ran out of during the stay. I would highly recommend her!”

“Ainura was absolutely amazing! I had to find a sitter for my new puppy on very short notice and she responded super fast and accepted the job. It was my first time using the Rover app and I’m so grateful it worked out so well. She took incredible care of little Khaleesi and sent loads of photos showing her playing and having a great time for the week. I’m definitely reaching out to Ainura next time I need a sitter :)”

“My two labs love spending the day at Tricia’s. I was so grateful when she agreed to board them over the holiday weekend. They had a great time, as usual; and I was able to enjoy my trip worry-free.”

“Katie is fantastic! She took such great care of my 14 year old slow moving pup! She gave me updates and pics which eased my mind while away! I would highly recommend Katie”
“Katie was a perfect sitter for Nash! She gave him the attention and love he wanted, a great house to feel comfortable in and he almost didn’t want to leave!”

“This was the second time we used Paula and again they were wonderful! Highly recommend them! Although, part of me wishes I could keep them a secret so they are always available for Maisy! ;)”

“Tasha and Joe took great care of my little guy! He’s nervous around new people, but in every photo they sent, I could tell he was wagging his tail, which told me everything I needed to know. They followed care instructions perfectly and were a pleasure to work with. We’ll definitely be back!”

About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.

“I was very pleased with Roxie’s stay! Stephanie and her family were awesome. They were very considerate and made me feel at ease leaving Roxie in their care. We received lots of communication and photos during our trip. Roxie seemed to have a great time and enjoyed the attention she was given. I would highly recommend Stephanie and hope Roxie can stay again next year when we go on vacation!”

“Lauren and Wynn were awesome with our 4 year old boxer! It sounds like he had a great time they sent a few pics of him playing. We would love to use them in the future! Thanks so much for watching Buck!”

“Danielle and Jathan were the perfect sitters for Sesame, our 1 year old pup. It was our first time using Rover and the experience couldn’t have been better! They provided cute pictures and videos and made sure to let us know how she was doing - which definitely eased our worries!”

“Paige, Stephen and family cared for our dog, Duncan, so well! He became part of their family while we were gone and I could tell that Duncan was thriving while with them. He especially loved playing with their kids which helped keep his sense of normalcy compared to our home! Would definitely recommend this family to anyone :)”
