“Stephanie was amazing with our not so easy pups. She made our daycation relaxing and stress free! We got pictures and updates all day long. Would highly recommend!”

“Heather n her family were great with Dexter! He enjoyed his vacation too! He was so clean n shiny when we picked him up, his hair looked awesome! He smelled like a farm dog so I added a bath, since I didn’t get time to bathe him before we left. Thank you so much! Dexter will be back!”

“Hayley did a great job taking care of my dog. She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout his stay. Not only was she great with my pet, but also did an amazing job communicating with me especially being flexible when I needed some help. I would love her to take care of my dog again.”

“Nicole made the whole boarding process so easy. Dixie was comfortable and relaxed (Nicole updated us regularly with photos) which in turn helped us relax and enjoy our time away. We 100% recommend Nicole R!!”

“Jalaina was amazing, the sweetest person, she took wonderful care of my brownie and sent photos for update. Brownie was clean and so happy when I saw her after staying with Jalaina . Her family was so welcoming and warm as-well thank you so much. I would book you over and over again .”

“Savanna kept my puppy for a week while I was on vacation. She did a wonderful job keeping me posted with pictures. She was also flexible and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her.”

“Katrina was GREAT! We were a little worried because we'd not gotten a chance to meet her before we got into town and we were 8 hours away from home but as soon as we met her we knew that she'd take great care of the dogs. She has two smaller dogs of her own that she kept separate from ours while we were there, but by the time we picked Hope and Lou up a few days later everyone was hanging out together. She was quick to update when I checked in on the dogs, but really, I felt comfortable enough that I only texted twice. I would absolutely leave them with her again when I'm back in the area.”

About: I have had pets my whole life of all shapes and sizes and I am currently a stay at home mom who is available everyday! I have to kiddos and a cat who are all familiar with dogs and other cats so they are gentle and enthusiastic to play. My background is caretaking for my family, cooking, cleaning, and I even worked at an animal shelter. Your pets would get my undivided attention, all of their needs met and more when they spend time with me! Pet care is something that comes automatic for me along with caring for my children. Everyone gets what they need before anything else is done for the day! I love taking them for walks throughout the day and I live near a park so I am always trying to spend time outside. When we are lounging inside we enjoy playing all together and hanging out in the living room. Pets that come into my home are treated like family here. I am available for boarding and day sitting so when your pets come here they will have a place to come and socialize and play all day and night. I am always home so they will always be supervised and I can give you plenty of updates on how their time with us is going. If your pet needs medications or special care that is something that I am more than comfortable with, anything to help them feel more at home with me!

I have experience with: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • Overnight pet sitting • Multi-pet households • Basic medication administration • Feeding and maintaining routines • Training reinforcement and enrichment I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I'll make sure they are safe, comfortable, loved, and treated like family while you're away. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. As a dog trainer and groomer, I spend much of my time caring for animals, and I have dogs of my own as well. My flexible schedule allows me to provide walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the week. Because working with animals is both my profession and my passion, caring for pets fits naturally into my routine. I'm a professional dog trainer with six dogs of my own, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life. All of my dogs are socialized and get along well with other dogs. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and because I make my own schedule, I'm able to be flexible and provide plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. When caring for pets in my home, they are treated like family. They receive regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, playtime, and lots of affection. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. As someone who works professionally with dogs and even takes my own dogs to work with me, I understand how important trust, consistency, and positive care are for every pet.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their New Garden home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your New Garden.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your New Garden sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
