Ryan and Haley took Cash on a holiday while we visited family and it was much appreciated. He must have had a great time because he’s been sleeping since we picked him up! 😂. Thank you both for taking good care of our spoiled pup.

Odette was the first sitter I've ever used. I was very nervous at first, but she is amazing! Very communicative, aware of my dogs specific needs, and super nice. I feel very lucky to have found her.

Emily is wonderful. She took a short notice request from us for an afternoon. She was amazing at integrating her other visitors with ours. Our dogs snuggled up and were very comfortable for their afternoon stay. She is a very caring and kind person who loves what she does! Doggies are well cared for and spoiled with love. It can be hard to connect with sitters and trust but you don’t have to hesitate with Emily & Austin. They make them part of the family!!!

We had Lisa watch our young puppy and he left with all wags and smiles! This was our first time leaving him with someone else. Lisa was amazing in making sure I felt comfortable and allowed me to visit her prior to booking. Immediately I felt at ease - she has a sweet and caring spirit and her children are great, too! Already booked our next daycare day. :)

About: I’ve been dog sitting for family since I was 13 years old, and as a dog person, I’m committed to caring for their needs. All little guys welcome! I’m a self-employed small business owner. While I’m working at home, I can take care of your baby all day long. My parents are also at home, so you’re dog will never be alone or unsupervised. Any day of the week can become a fun time! When I have a guest (your dog) staying with me, I’ll have times scheduled for when they need to eat, potty, play and sleep in. Everyone’s time in the house is respected. If you’re dog needs any special accommodations or routines, please let me know. I will be sure to respect your dog’s needs because I treat every dog like family! I have a large fenced in yard and one playful and friendly boy dog at home that can keep your dog company. All playdates will be supervised.

About: New to Rover but very seasoned animal professional and pet sitter. With nearly 30 years of professional hands-on experience from busy veterinary clinics to service as a nonprofit veterinary clinic board member to high volume animal rescue, I'm one of the most seasoned and knowledgeable animal caregivers you'll find on Rover. I've worked with dogs of every age, size, and temperament - from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler touch. I know how to read behavior, build trust, and create a safe, calm, and happy environment for every pet in my care. Also, experienced in caring for exotic birds, tortoises, farm animals, etc. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I primarily work from home. I’m able to give your pet consistent attention throughout the day, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in your absence. Providing reliable, high‑quality care is a priority for me, and I’m committed to giving your pet the same level of dedication I give my own pets. Ensuring safety and trust is at the center of how I care for pets. My home has a large, fully fenced yard that provides a secure space for supervised outdoor time. I share my home with three crate‑trained dogs and two friendly, laid‑back cats who enjoy greeting newcomers. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and very experienced in reading behavior, which allows me to adjust interactions and routines to keep everyone feeling safe and relaxed. I take pride in caring for your pet with the same attention, patience, and respect you give them at home. **It’s also important to note that I’m trained and educated in maintaining clinical‑level cleanliness to prevent cross‑contamination. I follow strict hygiene practices to keep all pets safe, healthy, and protected during their stay.

Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.

About: I grew up on a cattle farm. I have loved animals my whole life. I have had a variety of inside and outside dogs growing up. I have a through understand of animal behaviors and body language, especially in dogs. To me dogs are like children, they need to be stimulated with exercise, play, and challenges. I currently work from home and have my own dog that I care for during the day. I have a lot of time during the day and thoroughly play and walk my own dog. I have a fenced in yard in a nice walkable neighborhood in White House. I walk my own dog every morning and have scheduled play times during the day. I also work with my own pup and do continuous training with her commands. Pets are family. Everyone is allowed on the bed and furniture :)

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - New Deal

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 1,034 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across New Deal. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your New Deal commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,034 sitters in New Deal, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
