“Kayla is the best! I have a sweet 4 month old kitten "Chandler". She plays and engages with him and he looks forward to her visits. She has taken excellent care of him. Thank you!”

“Nicole was SO wonderful and did an excellent job of taking care of our cats. They are usually very nervous with new people, but they warmed up to Nicole super fast! She sent lots of pictures during the drop in visits and also made sure our cat took his medicine. We were so comfortable while being on an out of state trip knowing Nicole was stopping by and taking care of them! 10/10 would recommend and will rebook in the future :)”

“Will is awesome! This was our first time using Will and he did a great job. I was gone for 9 days and was updated constantly. One of my cats gets spicy and temperamental. Will handled it with ease and got her back to feeling comfortable within a few days. When I came home my cats were happy and my house was clean. Everything was just as I left it. Thanks will!”

“Mandy is so fantastic! She is reliable, highly communicative, and diligent in doing everything needed for our pets. She has been flexible with our family when issues have come up that change our plans. She's the best and I'd recommend her to anyone I know!”

About: I have experience caring for both elderly and young dogs. This has equipped me with a variety of skills such as age-appropriate exercise, nutritional needs, and understanding certain behaviors and how to react. I just recently graduated high-school and need something to fill my time. Playing with your pups seems to be the best thing to fill my day! I’m free majority of the week and only work part-time as a waitress. I have a cat and dog at my house but both a friendly to other animals. If needed the animals can be put in a separate room away from clients pet.

“Relish did a great job with my girl, Basia, even if Basia wouldn't give her the time of day! Basia decided to be a shy girl, for once, and hide most of the time but she eventually came out to observe Aelish in her home from under the dining table. But, seriously, Aelish was very sweet and friendly, and responsive to my texts while cat-sitting. I would definitely use her again and would recommend her.”

About: My wife and I have both grown up around dogs and absolutely love the warmth and loyalty that they provide. I had a Dachshund growing up, while my wife had a German Shepard, Mastiff, Yorkie, and a Vizsla. We currently have a rescue Jack Russel/Beagle mix who is absolutely full of love and energy every day! We both have experience with puppies and senior dogs. My wife has also had lots of experience with dog walking and sitting including caring for Golden Retrievers and Labs. I am originally from Roanoke, VA. After moving to Florida and working for the Walt Disney Company for 5 years, my wife and I moved back to Roanoke to be closer to family. We are fully available to help care for your fur baby! We have experience with crates and will happily crate any of your pets. We will always use our utmost respect, care, and love with your pets!

About: I grew up on a farm, always having dogs and cats around. I also worked at a small animal shelter for 3 years, where I rescued my 2 cats and dog. Later I worked at a pet supply store. We were given extensive education on pet nutrition, handling and care. I have always been friends and families go to person for their pet sitting needs. Also I cared for my husband's 2 elderly dogs when we moved in together, helping them eat, administering medications and helping them in and out of the house. I have an open schedule as I am new to the area. I am more than happy to come to you or you can come to me! Whatever your pet needs are I can attend to. If crating is needed I can do that, I live less than a mile from a nature center where we can go on hikes and walk. If I am needed in your home just let me know the details of what you would like and I can make that happen as well.

About: The house my parents moved into when I was only 4 weeks old was unfortunately a dumping ground for unwanted animals. Before I could even walk I was cuddling with any animal that showed up at our door. This instilled a passion within me that I can finally turn into a profession. From Rescue and fostering to training dogs and showing horses, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I completed the AKC handlers course several years ago. I concentrate on both the dog's body language as well as our surroundings while walking to avoid any unwanted meetings. Being so heavily involved in rescue, I have history and experience in dealing with reactive and/or selective dogs. For this reason I will not only keep my two bigger dogs secured from each other but also your fur baby. I use a crate and rotate as a rule, I also have baby gates that are physically attached to the door frames at almost every door frame in my home. I have a 6 ft chain link fence that is separated into two yards for safety. I also offer pet waste removal services. Feel free to send me a note if you have any questions. After a successful 25year business management career, I am now turning my lifetime passion of animal care into a profession. This year I started up my own business, "G'MA DOES". I offer a range of services from dog walking and pet sitting to animal waste removal. I like to stay active! I wanted to add to the drop in time frame availability. Most days I'm available after 11:30. For ongoing drop-ins I am available from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. for one time or few time drop-ins and earlier time can be arranged but would need to be given a little more advance notice. *LICENSED AND INSURED* In my house we call it "FURniture" for a reason. I use the "crate and rotate" regimen as needed and for feeding. I also have baby gates at every doorway. My entire backyard is a 6 ft chain length fence and I have it separated into two secured areas for exercise. Inside, one room is a dedicated cat room for litterboxes toys etc. The other two bedrooms will be dedicated safe spaces used for play, overnight stays, or whatever the situation calls for.

“Brianna seems very knowledgeable and good with animals. She was punctual and attentive to my requests, and she left a detailed account of her visit. I am sure my dog was in good hands.”
