About: I have had dogs since I was 7. I have experience with dogs with allergies and seizure disorders. I also volunteer at an animal shelter. I have had cats for the last 13 years and care for a friend's cats when they are away. I have availability late afternoon and evenings on weekdays and am fairly flexible on the weekends. I have a dog and 2 cats of my own that are cared for daily. I would be able to drop in and feed cats or dogs as needed. I could also let dogs out into a fenced area or take on a leash if your yard is not fenced.

I have a park walking distance from my house that I can take dogs to run around and use the bathroom and I live in a good area for walks. I’m a big guy and can handle the larger breeds pretty well usually, but also caring for the little ones as well. Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all. I’m a big guy at 6’4” and about 225 lbs so I can handle em all. I’m also rather calm and quiet which I believe helps animals feel at ease around me. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
