About: I have worked in the vet med field. Taking care of pets is part of the job. I was a kennel assistant as well. I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified, so you can have comfort that I will know what to do in emergency situations for your pets. Will take real time photos of your pets to keep you updated while you are away. I am going to school for becoming a certified veterinary technician. ALL pets are prefered to be up to date on vaccines. I also require a meet and greet of your pets prior to any services so they get to know me and no complications arise, especially for house sitting. I will come to your house and do anything they would need, making it more comfortable for your pet. Whether it be walking your pets, pet sitting, giving medication, nail trims, or taking them out to potty.
About: I was raised in a household with at least 2 dogs at a time, not including the ones that we would foster here and there and I have been pet sitting for 4 years; throughout my time doing so I have meet all types of dogs with a variety of personalities and temperaments. I have worked with great danes to chihuahuas, including (mostly) mutts of different sizes. I have had to deal with very old and sickly pets that required a lot of time and devotion, and I have dealt with very young puppies that required constant watch. Many of the dogs I pet-sit have separation anxiety and/or have a problem with new people, it is not an issue. I have no problem with cleaning up accidents and messes that occur. (I have also cared for cats, ferrets, rats, mini-pigs, various types of bird, reptilians, and tarantulas)

We always had multiple animals in the house when my children were young. My dog, Nina recently passed at 17 and she had been my traveling companion all of her life. They are fed wet food twice daily and always have dry food. I feed Dilly, my step dog premium kibble with Freshpet, cheese, eggs, and chicken twice daily. She gets plenty of exercise on the farm. All of our pets are allowed to sit, sleep, nap wherever they want, including our bed and the tables. Everyone has a different style of living with with animal family, so I would do as you do with your furbaby.
