They have a big fenced-in yard so that the dogs can spend lots of time outdoors. Debbie sent us lots of updates while our dog with staying with her, so that we were reassured the dog was doing well. This included how she ate and slept, which are the two most important pieces of information.”

We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Ask us. Please visit us to see our home ! We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather. Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).

I am pet CPR and First Aid Certified, so you can have comfort that I will know what to do in emergency situations for your pets. Will take real time photos of your pets to keep you updated while you are away. I am going to school for becoming a certified veterinary technician. So I feel my skills help me help people with their pets. I have done house calls for giving medication, nail trims, and pet sitting. I WILL NOT take care of your pet if they are aggressive or have bitten someone in the past. For unvaccinated pets I will not take care of them if they have bitten someone. No acceptions! ALL pets are prefered to be up to date on vaccines. I also require a meet and greet of your pets prior to any services so they get to know me and no complications arise, especially for house sitting. I will come to your house and do anything they would need, making it more comfortable for your pet. Whether it be walking your pets, pet sitting, giving medication, nail trims, or taking them out to potty.

I have a very large yard for exploring and the pets are welcome in my home. Most importantly I will focus on what the owners think is most important for their pet.
About: I love all animals and will give my all in love and care towards your fur friends, I have years of care experience with dogs ranging from new puppies to senior dogs, I even have my own, I will follow all instructions to a T because I know how stressful it can be leaving the care of your best friend with another person and how important it is to care for an animal to the fullest extent. I am free all week Monday-Friday (weekends are possible depending on schedule) and all times of the day from morning to night for anything you may need. I give my all to my pets, whether that be if they need a walk, food, love/ attention. I have a senior pup and he requires me to be more gentle during play so I am always careful, along with more frequent potty breaks and shorter walks. My cats both require different needs, Timothy requires tooth and eye care while TinkerBell requires more grooming such as daily brushing, hair trims and bathing due to her long fur.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals of all types for all my life including my own fur baby, a mini golden doodle. I have also volunteered for dog and cat groups over the years and have gained experience with all different personalities and quirks. I’m currently working on my own farm so to drop by your home and take care of a friend can easily be scheduled into my day. We've always had at least two dogs and two cats in the house, with the odd horse, donkey, goat, hamster, or fish to join in the mix. About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. I have always had pets, and they were all family members. I went to school for Horse Husbandry. I have always been a horse person. We always had multiple animals in the house when my children were young. My dog, Nina recently passed at 17 and she had been my traveling companion all of her life. I have a natural love for animals that they can sense. I treat them as family, whether they are yours or mine. I will love them as my own. I am quite flexible as I am not currently working. That being said, I am not an early morning person. I usually am up before 9 though. I recently moved to Dancing Hen farm with my cats. They are strictly indoor cats until the spring. They are fed wet food twice daily and always have dry food. I feed Dilly, my step dog premium kibble with Freshpet, cheese, eggs, and chicken twice daily. She gets plenty of exercise on the farm. All of our pets are allowed to sit, sleep, nap wherever they want, including our bed and the tables. Everyone has a different style of living with with animal family, so I would do as you do with your furbaby.
About: I have experience with dogs, cats and exotics especially parrots! I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, rats , Guinea pigs and rats too I’ve watched various neighbors dogs for years and always focus on giving them a fun day since it’s really stressful when your a dog family leaves even for a few days. I currently have no pets at the moment so I can dedicate time to yours! I am working part time so I have a very flexible schedule and my own reliable transportation. With notice I can easily modify my routine to make sure I’m there for your pet In my home I current have it parrot proofed. So we have no chemical or anything toxic that can easily be gotten into. I also make sure not to keep any toxic foods in the house as an extra level of precaution and know that you cannot leave them alone because you never know what any pet will get into especially when their routine is disrupted

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
About: I love dogs! Over the last 15 years I have fostered over 90 dogs and have owned 7 myself. I currently have 2 pups living with my husband and I. I enjoy loving on them and giving them an amazing life. Dogs have always been a vital part of my life and being able to provide a safe loving environment for other people's dogs makes my heart happy. My husband and I both work from home and are home bodies. Someone is home 96% of the time. I can provide frequent potty breaks and accommodate any schedule your pup is on. It was a beautiful space and I didn't hesitate to leave them in her good hands. Within an HOUR or two of drop-off - we had an unexpected situation when one of our dogs became very stressed and sick due to the new environment. Marian kept me informed right away, was incredibly patient and compassionate and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my dogs. She even transported them to our home and transitioned our booking to drop in visits - which I so appreciated. She reassured us that she was a professional and used to these situations. We were able to proceed with our booked getaway ONLY because of Marians professionalism and kindness and flexibility.
