“Popi had a very relaxing time. Marleny is great at letting dogs be themselves. He boards here next month and am looking forward to him having a great time. As long as she's available I'll be a repeater.”

“Melissa and Angel are great! They took great care of my dog Whiskey, providing walks, playtime, and plenty of pictures throughout. I will definitely use them again when I’m in the area. Highly recommend!!”

“Melissa is the most caring and kindest Roverer I’ve ever worked with! She understands dogs, super confident with handling and they have a great time. She has very respectful little ones who my dogs loved playing with. She’s the perfect location for anyone headed to the casino for the day! Book her time with your buddy - you won’t be disappointed and they won’t either!”

“Melvin has stayed with Jason several times. His tail wags as he goes into his house. He comes home totally pooped out. It is always a very positive experience.”

“Equasia was fantastic and kind to me and my pup, and kept me updated all day. He came home very happy. They even brushed him and took him on multiple walks. Sent sooo many photos. I'm very happy and so is he! Would absolutely book again.”

“Kim was wonderful in every way. She made me feel welcome from the first second I walked in the door. She took me outside plenty of times to get fresh air and to feel more relaxed in these new surroundings. She made me sit for treats and always praised me when I did. Her treats were great and I had frozen peanut butter for the first time! Yum!! I got along well with Kim's two fur babies, but I was probably a little too energetic for them. Kim sent lots of cute pictures and sweet informative text messages to my Mom and Dad. Kim has taken lots of courses on how to understand doggy psychology and behavior, and she is very good at teaching us new things. I really enjoyed my time with Kim and hope to come back and visit again soon! Thank you, Kim, for a very nice afternoon!”

“We are so happy we found Jeanne. Our Rigby came home so happy. We are using her for routine care and are so excited we have someone who cares for the dogs like they are her own. Highly recommend!”

“We are repeat customers which says a lot! Tuk is well taken care of and Emily is great with giving us updates and taking his special needs into consideration. We never worry when we leave him here!”

About: I have been a dedicated dog dad for over 4 years. While I have experience managing a multiple dog household, I currently only have my resident German Shepherd at home during sittings. He is a "big baby" super friendly, well-socialized, and great at making guest dogs feel welcome. I live to make these 4 legged animals smile, you can be sure your pup will have a good time when I’m around! As a dedicated dog owner for over four years, I offer a safe and structured 'home away from home' for your pup. My household is perfectly set up for socialization, featuring my friendly, 'big baby' German Shepherd who loves making new friends. To ensure a calm and focused environment, my other resident dogs stay off site during bookings, allowing me to prioritize your pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s managing high-energy play, providing gentle senior care, or maintaining strict feeding and medication schedules, I provide your dog with a reliable routine filled with backyard fun, mental enrichment, and plenty of cuddles. You can travel with peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for by an experienced handler who treats every guest like family! When a doggo stays with me, they aren't just a "guest" they become apart of the family. My goal is to keep their home routine so they don't feel the stress of your absence.

We care for them like your family would because we know how important it is to you for them to be safe and well cared for I am a stay at home mom just trying to get a second income for her family, so I am always home to be able to care for and walk your pets I have a very nice and spacious backyard, I am planning on fencing it in soon, I am home all day with my son and can walk them on a daily or as much as they require

About: I’ve had an insane love for dogs since I was a little girl. They bring me so much happiness and joy and I love all their little personalities. I’m working from home so I have more than enough time to show the babies love and bring them outside when necessary. My dog & I love being outside and exploring the town. I live in an apartment building so I’m Constantly taking my dog out to the park to let out some steam and energy, and of course to go to the potty. You should have no worries leaving your fur baby in my hands, I have had a dog or multiple dogs my entire life and I have a huge spot in my heart for them. I am someone I would feel more than comfortable leaving my dog with.
“Holli is the best dog sitter we've ever had! She's reliable, trustworthy, and easy to communicate with, and —— most importantly —— she loves animals, and makes them feel loved! Hire Holli!”

About: Since 1990s, I've taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, geese, birds, fish and more for family, friends, neighbors and church. They have confided in me to love, feed, water, walk, play, and groom their furry buddies. I'm currently working part time, and my schedule is flexible. Furry buddies will be closely accompanied daily with plenty time to play, potty, and sleep. With Back yard Fenced in and with a screened deck, furry buddies are secured and safe. Crates are welcomed and provided if need or can supply own.
“Getting better, my dogs, not the sitter. Our dogs are not used to being away from us or from home. We are prepping them for a weekend away. They did better today. They like Jahada and go with her easily, it's my mama dog who is still a little anxious. She will just pant though. Not exhibiting any other bad behaviors. She will use the bathroom while with Jahada, both poop and pee, which is fantastic because if she were to feel completely uneasy, she wouldn't do either. We're about to attempt an overnight stay! Thanks Jahada.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Nazareth commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
