“Kaitlyn was AMAZING! From her first visit she made us feel at ease with leaving our beloved pup with her. She truly treats your pets as if they are her own. She sent us lots of great updates and pictures. We look forward to having her stay again in the future!”

“Kristi, was amazing with our dogs. She meet with us before her stay and the dogs and her instantly hit it off. She kept in constant communication with how everything was going. Getting home and the dogs looked well rested and relaxed for her stay with them. Will definitely use her again for future stays if available when we need aomeone to watch them.”

“Tabitha was great with my two big puppies. They got lots of exercise and TLC, and she sent me lots of photos, which I absolutely love to get. The house was spotless when we got home — just really above-and-beyond service.”

“Highest recommendation! Penny represents the utmost in professional care for your pets. We had the great fortune of using her in-home pet sitting while away on vacation. From the get-go, Penny set herself apart with highly responsive communication and respectful punctuality. She was immediately at ease with our pets, and provided numerous daily update photos so we knew everything was going well while we were away. Going further, she patiently provided the extra care our senior dog needs in terms of daily medication and food preparation. Penny is everything a great pet sitter should be!”

“Emily is an absolute pro! Kind hearted, considerate and our pets loved her! Outstanding communicator, sharing many photos and updates. She’s very tidy and was kind to our home. She’s really good with animals and is just a great person. Highly recommend!”

“Was a joy to have Hallie in our home with Max. He is diabetic and requires alot of special attention with shots and medication. She is very attentive and loves animals. I would recommend her services to anyone. Can’t wait to use her again.”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life, and since I was a fairly young child I was taught to be responsible with pets as my mom was a vet tech. I work Thursday 12-5 and 5-10 on Friday/Saturday, so I can easily take dogs on walks in the afternoon during the nicest part of the day on most week days, as well as Sunday! I have my own car and will be super happy to pick up your pup to go on walks, and I have experience with house sitting prior so I am experienced with using alarm systems in homes.
“Allie is responsible, trustworthy, and checked in with us daily! She took excellent care of our pup and our home for one week. We are delighted to have met her and hope she will dog and home sit for us again in the future!”

About: I grew up around pets my whole life, and I love spending time with animals. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of love and attention while they’re with me. Boarding dogs stay in my home and have access to a securely fenced yard to run around and play. I also have a nearby park for walks. Pet care is my full-time job, so I have a flexible schedule and can plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. Boarding dogs get plenty of attention and aren’t left alone for long periods of time. I make sure every pet in my care feels safe and comfortable, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. Boarding dogs have access to a securely fenced yard, and I also have a nearby park for walks.
About: I’ve always had animals in the house, multiple dogs at once. I have 2 dogs of my own to keep your pups entertained while you’re away! I have a fenced in yard to let your pup run wild! I am a dog trainer so if there are any problems behaviors (potty/crate training, barking, jumping, Etc.) we can begin to work on those while you’re away! I have a cat in the home, however she’s got a baby gated portion of the house to take a break from the doggy chaos! I currently have staggered schedule so your pup shouldn’t be alone for more than 4 to 6 hours at a time! There will be plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and play time! I believe dogs need physical and mental stimulation during a “stressful period” (aka, you’re on vacation!) and we have plenty of means to do just that!
“We didn’t get to use Diane this time. Our 14 year old Border Collie, Mouse, passed right before Diane was supposed to sit. My husband ended up canceling his trip and stayed home with our cats. However, Diane was very professional and friendly during our meet and greet and extremely empathetic upon finding out about Mouse.”
“Jessica was fabulous!! She was very attentive at the meet and great, and very upbeat. While I was away, she checked in often and sent lits of pictures to help me feel at wase with a new person. When I returned, the house hardly looked like she was even there. Will for sure use again!!”

About: I have 10+ years experience with animal care. For example: walking, bathing, feeding, cuddling, giving medicine. I have worked in kennels, hospitals, grooming salons and here on Rover for several years. I work for myself so I am available almost 24/7. I have experience with all types of animals but mostly cats and dogs. I'm friendly and patient and just adore animals. There's nothing I wont do for your fur babies!! I am easy to reach by call or text and can send photos with updates at any time. I work from home and I make my own schedule so I am available 24/7. My availability is wide open and I respond quickly to requests. I am very detail oriented and will treat any animal as if they were my own. I am easy to reach via text, call or email.
About: As a child and young adult I grew up with a family dog and cat of my own. I know what the genuine bond and love feels like between an animal and their owner having experienced it myself. In addition, when I was younger I helped out on a family farm during the summers so I do have experience being around and working with different animals. I work as a teacher during the school calendar year but my schedule is completely free during our summer break. As such, I am mostly looking to provide pet care during the work week M-F but I am also willing to discuss weekend options if needed and if provided notice in advance. I can feed, walk and play with your dogs when you are away! I can also crate them if needed. If there are any other services you would like to discuss, I am open to hearing them.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Navilleton
We can not say enough good things about Penny! She took great care of our two furry loves while we were away. She also kept us very well informed each day as to how our puppies were doing. Before the visit, she took the time to come by and meet our dogs and get to know them. We could tell that both our dogs were very comfortable with Penny and that she was very comfortable with providing the top notch care she provided.
Wow - Penny is a true gem! I cannot say enough wonderful things. I am so grateful for the amazing care that she gave to Louie. She went above and beyond - he was treated like a king getting all the good healthy snacks and even some massages while I was away! Penny always kept me in the loop with updates, and she really bailed me out at the last minute when my flight was delayed and I got stuck in Chicago. I would absolutely book her again in the future if given the opportunity. Thanks Penny for your wonderful service - Louie misses you already!

Penny was wonderful. She kept us updated the whole time and didn’t hesitate to ask questions. She even checked in to make sure we made it Home for our pups in case something happened and we needed her. 10/10 would recommend. We’re going to try and use her every time we travel!

As of August 2026, there are 736 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Navilleton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Navilleton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Navilleton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Navilleton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Navilleton. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
