About: I’ve never lived in a house without pets and I’m good at building a rapport with them. I don’t mind if an animal is skittish, nervous, or hyper. I will always bring the best care to your furry loved ones if you bring me on to help. I currently work from 4pm until midnight at the latest so I can drop in while the client is at work and if I’m given proper notice I can schedule around my job. In the client’s home I will be able to stop in frequently and/or stay for a few hours to keep their pet company. I will also be able to feed them and give them water and take them on nice long walks.

About: I am a 30 year old college graduate and I have loved dogs my entire life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I always asked my friends if I could hang out with their dogs whenever possible. I just honestly really love dogs and want to be able to hang out with as many as possible throughout my life. I interned at a Veterinary Clinic during my senior year of high school so I have become familiar with appropriate ways to administer medications, trim toe nails, and calm anxious pups. My availability is fairly flexible and I will always make time to take care of a pooch that needs it while their pet parents are away for whatever reason they have. My schedule can sometimes be unpredictable but I always do my best to communicate that with possible clients. Open communication is key for me to help you. If I’m in your home, I treat it like my own. I was raised to respect everyone and their belongings. Your pet’s safety is always my number one priority.

About: I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. I understand every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow any routines and give them all the patience and attention they need and deserve! I also have experience with family animals! Growing up, we had all sizes of dogs, from a German Shepherd to an Italian Greyhound! So I have experience with all different animal personalities like door dashers, small velcro pups, and the older ones too:) I currently have a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a hamster! I truly love animals and want pet parents to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and getting lots and lots of love while they’re away! I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening pet care as needed! I live in a rented apartment, so sadly I’m not able to board pets in my home. I do offer care in clients’ homes, which I believe is often best for pets since they can stay in their own familiar space:) I always make sure to follow instructions closely, keep the environment clean, and prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 11. I’ve been trusted with walking, feeding, bathing, as well as medication administration by family and friends. I work as a night shift nurse so my schedule can be a bit different, hectic, and sparse at times, but I’m still able and very much willing to give your dog the care, love, and attention they need and deserve! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I always check fences or fence gates before letting a dog outside. If dropping in for a house visit, I like to make sure the area is safe and secure - making sure your pup doesn’t get into anything they shouldn’t, such as trash bins, food on the counter, etc.

She always did MORE than required, including regular communication, photos, and details that she'd only know if she was really spending time with them. I never worried about a thing, which for me, is an amazing gift. I missed our cats, but I never worried about them. For me, THAT is the very best recommendation I can give a caregiver. About: Growing up, there has always been dogs in my house. Currently, I own two Shih Tzus and have had a Teddy Bear in the past. I can administer some medications as well as participate in enrichment activities. I’m currently not working and I am a college student. I am open to caring for your animals anytime of the day. About: I have grown up with no less than 5 dogs all my life, I also have just under 2 years of house / pet sitting experience! I live on 40 acres a feel my pets are living their best life. They are treated like family and always make my days better. I have a fenced in area connected to a heated garage if I were watch your pet at my home. How they re-acted to my dogs would determine if they stayed in my home.

About: I’ve volunteered with dogs since I was 11, lived with large dogs my since childhood, and have been working jobs in animal welfare for 2.5 years. Working in a pet hospital, dog rescue facility, and a county shelter gave me a lot of experience and professional training with handling dogs of all sizes safely, especially anxious dogs. I was trained to administer daily medications and even fluids as needed. My daily tasks were feedings, cleanings, walking, and playing with our dogs. I am free Mondays and Wednesdays. I work from 8am - 6pm at the shelter on Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat. I would love to house sit for a night or two if this schedule can work around you and your animals. While checking up on your dogs, I can play with them until they’re tired out and teach them basic tricks and commands. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs and will treat your pet with compassion, using positive reinforcements. I’m a patient pet sitter and would love to spend time with your dogs and cats. About: I’ve had pets and taken care of animals my entire life. I’ve always had cats- my first cat I got when I was three, and I’ve been the primary caretaker for them since. I’ve also had bunnies, dogs, hamsters, and fish! In my hometown (Madison, WI) I was always the go-to pet caretaker. I’ve walked and house sat all kinds of dogs, cats, and other furry friends. Being around animals is something I value a lot! I work part time at Ore Dock Brewery in the summer, and am a nursing student at NMU during the school year!
