I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for all kinds of pets—playful puppies, curious kittens, gentle seniors, and animals with disabilities or special needs. 🐶🐱💕 I previously worked at an animal shelter, which gave me extensive experience handling pets of all temperaments and situations. I’m extremely comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injections if needed) and I always make sure every animal gets the extra love and attention they deserve. I work full-time Monday through Friday 9-5, but when I’m off the clock, I’m available to be at your home as much as you'd like, and I frequently stay overnight to keep pets happy and stress-free in their own space & make sure they’re all taken care of before I leave for work & as soon as I’m off! Best of all, I'm completely free on weekends, so I can dedicate my full attention to your furry family members all weekend long. I do not usually watch animals in my own home, other than cats who are not outdoor cats & are experienced & good with other cats, since I have two of my own. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, as it lessens the stress for the animal (and my cats! haha)

Ok, wow. I moved to town a year ago with my 12-year dog, Malachi. He has never boarded a lot, but since we moved here and don’t know many people, he has had to go “kennel jail”. He liked it there, ok, but he was never excited to go. This time, I took a chance and searched Rover and landed on Sara’s page. From the beginning she made me feel comfortable. She’s super communicative and seemed excited about staying with my boy. During the stay, I got frequent pictures and updates, which was great for my anxiety, this being the first time I’ve left him at home without family watching him. But, that wasn’t the best part. I got to watch my boy be completely head over heels for Sara! He seemed so happy to have her here and was so happy when I got home. It was as if he had the best weekend ever! 20/10 stars, would absolutely recommend and will absolutely book again.

Sara was everything I could have asked for in a pet sitter and more. This was my first time using a pet sitter outside of close friends or family, so I was incredibly nervous. From our very first messages, though, I knew Sara was the right fit. I have a very anxious dog and two cats with behavioral issues who need to be kept separated at all times. My cats routine isn’t the most common, but Sara followed it exactly as I asked and never made me feel judged for the extra steps there care requires. It meant so much to know my pets were in the hands of someone who truly listened and respected their needs and routine. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like they’re her own, Sara is the one. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Sara was fantastic. Our dog Soc’s was so calm and relaxed when we got home we knew she had been well cared for. She was in contact with us daily sending photos and updates to calm our nerves as first time Rover users. We have already booked her again for August. THANK YOU Sara!!

Schedule
I work full time Monday through Friday but I’m available to tend to your pets in the morning & as soon as I get off. When I am not at work, I am available to be at your home as much as you would like me there. I frequently stay in peoples homes with their pets. I am off work on weekends so I can dedicate the entire weekend to your furry babies.
