“This was our first time using Rover.com for our two rambunctious young pups. We were nervous about leaving Gracie and Tuck, but Lauren and her husband Doug did an OUTSTANDING job of watching them in our home. They sent lots of pictures and messages and it really helped to reassure us they were safe and felt comfortable in their new situation. We had a great time on vacation, but seeing the pics of the pups and learning about their adventures each day was our biggest highlight. We are so appreciative for Lauren and Doug’s patience, kindness and care of our furry kids and we highly recommend them.”

“Jessica had pup-sitted for my very anxious dog and she has done great with him! His anxiety is way down and he’s relaxed enough to even play around! I’m grateful we found her and that my pup loves her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for different family members and friends. Your animals would get plenty of attention and love with me. I wake up at 6 am. My week days vary from having class from 9-11 MWF, Tuesday at 2, and Thursday at 11. I live off campus about 3 minutes away, so I can easily check in/take out the pets. I do not have a fenced in yard, but there is plenty of grass and a park within walking distance. I am more comfortable walking with a leash unless there is a fenced in yard. My apartment has 1 roommate and plenty of space for dogs/cats to roam or lay down.

“John bailed me out with just a few days' notice when I had a family emergency and had to rush out of town. He was very kind and accommodating to my needs and I appreciate his responsiveness and assistance. He met all my expectations and I will definitely call upon him again.”

“Debra was great- communicated frequently while she took care of our fur babies. Sent pictures and left the house cleaner then when we left! I’ve already asked her to help us out again in the future. Highly recommend.”

“We cannot recommend Ronny highly enough! When another sitter backed out at the last minute, we reached out to Ronny on short notice. He responded promptly and was more than willing to come by for a meet and greet, which immediately put us at ease. From the moment he walked in the door, our cats were comfortable with him which is not always the case. Ronny took his time answering all of our questions and asked thoughtful questions of his own. Even though we admittedly have a very detailed list of instructions, he did an amazing job remembering all the little things and checking in regularly with messages and photos throughout his stay. It was clear that Ronny genuinely cared about making sure our cats were happy, comfortable, and well loved while we were away. He was also incredibly respectful of our home, leaving everything exactly as we left it. He even went above and beyond by offering to clear our driveway after an unexpected snowfall. If you’re looking for someone who truly goes the extra mile and treats your pets like their own, Ronny is absolutely the person to book!”

“Ashton was great with our two dogs! They warmed up to him almost immediately and he was very thoughtful in their care. He was very responsive and prudent with being on time and keeping them on a schedule. Also left the house exactly how he found it which was a huge relief being able to come home to a clean house! Would absolutely recommend!”

“Ashley does a great job with our 4 dogs. When they see her coming they are so happy. I don't have to worry about them while I am gone. She sends pictures and updates. She feeds them including any.medical needs my.dogs have. She keeps our house clean(cleaner than when we left!) I would highly recommend her as my.dogs are well taken care of and she.is trustworthy. I appreciate all the.love she shows our dogs while we are away!”

Nashville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Debi stayed with our dog, Piper, for two weeks while we traveled, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. She did a wonderful job caring for Piper and stayed in touch throughout our trip with updates and lots of pictures, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We returned to a happy and relaxed dog and a neat and well cared for home. Debi washed the sheets and left everything looking great, which was such a thoughtful touch! What I appreciated most was knowing both our home and our dog were being well cared for by someone dependable and conscientious. We felt comfortable enough with Debi that we’ve already booked her again for another stay. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets and your home responsibly while you’re away, I would not hesitate to recommend Debi.

Krissy was great! Great communication - got daily updates. Krissy watched both by Chocolate Lab and Golden Retriever - both are very energetic and can get very excited during the initial meet and greet. Krissy was great with both and they were very well taken care of. Thank you!
