About: We currently have 2 Dogs, 1 cat, and 2 kids. I have had animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with 3 poms and multiple cats. I have handled ALL different types of dogs through family and friends. Would also be willing to take care of other pets if needed. We currently foster cats and walk dogs when able through spca. I have delt with young pups to seniors with mediation. I love all animals and take care of them like my own. I can be flexable. I am a stay at home dad with my daughter and son who is currently in cyber school. Going on walks around the area or to the park to play are some easy ideas. Love walking or jogging a pet if they are up for it. I can drop in, take them for a walk, play with them at the park, play in home or back yard or whatever you/they need.

About: Being around animals just brightens my day! I was a groomer for 2 years before becoming a mom full time. I have experience with dogs ranging from little baby doggies to the giants of giants and I love them all. I ABSOLUTELY will take pictures of your furbaby so fully expect picture updates along the way. I have experience with diabetes in dogs so I’m good with giving insulin injections as well as taking blood for blood sugar checks. I’ve dog sat for friends/family/neighbors and my priority is to always treat every pup as my own. I have 8 years experience house sitting/checking in/dog walking for others and 11 years personal experience. I’m a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to hangout with your fur babies! My morning availability starts at 8:30am. When doing check ins or house sitting I like to follow any requests/routines you the pet parent already have in place for your fur babies day to day.

Elise was amazing! She helped with daily drop in visits for about 5 weeks, and was awesome the entire time. She came over for a meet and greet beforehand and Bia loved her! Elise was super communicative and took so many pictures for every visit. I definitely recommend Elise for any doggie needs, and will definitely request her again if ever in the area! :)

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs (puppies to seniors) since I was a kid. I currently have an 8 year old yellow lab. I'm available all summer (until mid -August). I work from home in the summer, and I'm a teacher during the school year. I have flexibility for any day of the week from June until mid-August. I will come to your home to walk and take care of your pet. I enjoy being outside with my yellow lab -- going on walks and playing fetch. I love the service Rover offers and I value the privacy and peace of mind for my own furry baby.

Chelsea was wonderful! She treated my puppies like they were her own. My border collie was hesitant at first (he always is when he first meets someone) but he warmed up to her very quickly. She sent daily pictures which helped us know our puppies were well taken care of while we were out of town. I've even asked Chelsea to be our go-to sitter and dog walker!

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life and have years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I currently have a 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a 1.5 year old Pomsky, so I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I work remotely from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a home with my girlfriend, her two children, and our two friendly dogs who enjoy meeting new furry friends. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop in visit, or a comfortable place to stay while you're away, they'll be treated like a member of our family. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I have a job where I work from home so am home most of the day to take care of all of the puppy needs! :) We have 2 dogs to keep your puppy company. We have an unfenced yard that we can take your dog out on a leash as often as needed for potty breaks. We also have a couple kids who love dogs and would love to have more puppies to play with.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always loved caring for animals. I’ve helped care for the dogs of friends, family, and neighbors over the years, and I’m comfortable following each dog’s individual routine, whether that means walks, playtime, meals, medication, or simply keeping them company. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule when it comes to pet sitting. I’m happy to work with your routine and do my best to accommodate the days and times you need. I understand how important it is for your pets to stay comfortable in their own home, and I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive care while you’re away. Your pets’ comfort and happiness are my top priority! When sitting in your home, I’ll keep them on their normal routine and give them plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship. About: My love for dogs began at a very young age, nothing can make me happier. I assisted my mom in running her kennel for many years, (we had 6 of our own) i was able to learn a lot from that and even got familiar with delivering puppies and working with dogs on behavioral issues before they were placed into their permanent homes. At 18 i got a job working as a kennel technician at a local pet shoppe, after showing my hard work and dedication i was given their assistant manager title! and i now own 2 dogs of my own, Everest & Copper. I am always willing to see if i can make something work out! i have a job but consistent hours can be a struggle within my work place. I truly believe that its all up to the owner, every dog is very different and has their own schedule and way they like to do things ! communication and listening to my clients is very important to me in order to make sure I'm respecting wishes and making their pup comfortable and happy as possible during our times spent together.

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
