About: I am very concerned with safety and will make sure to proactively address anything that may be important. I am a naturally caring and loving person. I am a good communicator and would give thorough updates. I'm working part-time while I go back to school. I I have several hour-long breaks in my day so that will allow me to care for pets in between those times. I will follow any schedules provided and make sure that your pet is comfortable as they can be while you are away. I have experience with very nervous dogs and I'm good at comforting.

4. Thalia W.
About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs throughout my entire life. I’ve had the blessing of entirely raising a dog a cat and even a snake, from months of age to adulthood and throughout their elder years on my own. I am currently on summer break from school and work full-time as a Behavior Technician in Okemos, MI ! Other than my day-job I have a complete open availability on nights, afternoons and weekends. Plenty of time to smother your fur-baby with love and affection ! I have an upstairs apartment with two cats and a pet snake. There are no stairs inside my apartment so there is easy access for disabled and senior fur-babies. My bedroom and guest room also reside all on the same floor.

10. Eric B.
About: I have owned every type of dog from poodle to golden retriever to pit bulls. I know they each have their own needs and personality. It will be my goal to become their new best friend. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. In my spare time my favorite thing to do is play with my dog. I am available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (including late-night or overnight visits). I have three dogs at my home so I am unable to board. However, I am happy to come to you for anything from potty breaks to overnight slumber parties. I don’t have children so my dogs are like my babies. I will do anything for them! That passion extends to every dog I meet. My “day job” is very routine and exercises my mind. I love the balance of physical exercise I get from playing with cats and dogs. I adapt very easily to new environments and feel that communication and responsible behavior are a MUST! I gladly do meet and greets before each booking and I specialize in long-term pet sitting stays.
11. Aspen S.
About: Hi! My name is Aspen and I'm 22 years old. I recently just graduated from college and I'm looking for some pets to hang out with! When I was 14, I worked on a farm with 22+ horses, barn cats, and a variety of dog breeds (ex. Corgi’s to Bernese Mountain dogs) All throughout my life I have had dogs ranging from small (20p) dogs to large (70+p). I grew up with mostly rescued mutts and full breed dogs (ex. Dobermans). During Covid I adopted a senior cat with a kidney disease, and he came along for the college ride with me. When I was younger, I had two bunnies and when I got older had two chinchillas. I also have had a few freshwater bettas throughout my life. When I was old enough, I started dog, horse, cat (and house) sitting during high school before I left the state to go to college. I love interacting with animals and I would love to meet yours! I recently accepted my first ever full-time salary position out of college but unfortunately my job isn't starting until January 6th. I am looking for something to pass the time until then! Therefore, my schedule is completely open. Monday through Sunday all hours! I will listen to all of the rules that you set with your pets and your homes. And I strongly prefer and encourage a lot of communication between the two of use to make sure that your pet/home is taken care of the way that you would want them to be taken care of. Almost as if you didn't even leave the house.
12. Jamie H.
“I can’t say enough great things about the exceptional dog care Jamie provided! I knew my furry friends were in the best hands when they were with her. She went above and beyond to ensure my 2 dogs and cat were happy, healthy, and well-loved while I was away. Daily updates and photos showed my pup enjoying walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. It’s clear she has a genuine love for animals and treats every pet like her own. I came home to a super happy pup—thanks to her care. I highly recommend her services to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable!”
13. Amelia A.
“Amelia is flexible and understanding, even taking walks at the last minute when available. I appreciate her willingness to provide great care for my puppy!”
14. Julie K.
“Julie is an avid animal lover. She likes animals of all types, but has a deep affection for dogs of all breeds. She will make your pet feel right at home and will shower them with love and attention.”
15. Makayla P.
“Makayla is the epitome of professional and we couldn't ask for a better person to leave our pets with. She is knowledgeable when it comes to breeds, training, and overall ways to work with you so your animal gets the most consistent care possible from all fronts.”
16. Averi C.

18. Alexis W.
About: I’ve dog sat in the past and currently both large and small breed dogs. I’m also a veterinary assistant in an animal emergency for 1yr and a half and currently in Vet tech school. I can care for any pet that needs some extra care and attention and the ones that just need an extra walk or play session in the middle of the day! My schedule changes and isn’t usually depicted in the availability on this app. Mostly I work somewhere between 8-6 4 days a week. I can take pets out at least two times a day when I work. Depending where you’re located I typically ask to leave 30min prior to the beginning of my shift and to give me 30min before I’m needed after my shifts. As far as your home, what you say goes despite what my opinion is unless I feel that you’re endangering your pet. If your pet is to come to my house, I unfortunately don’t have a fenced in yard but we do have 6 acres that they can have roam of while I accompany them on a long lead and several trail areas to walk your pet for exercise.
19. Karen B.
About: Retired until the next recruiter finds me. Held a security clearance for over 26 years. I've been boarding, house sitting, dropping in, walking, and running with dogs since before COVID hit. I also provide cat care. Open to other duties as assigned (mail collection, plant and/or pool/spa care, garbage/recycling, snow clearing, etc.) Golf league couple evenings/week, and ski locally on weekends. Membership Director of the Battle Creek Ski Club - occasional meetings. 50 mile radius is for house sitting; drop ins or walks within 10 miles. Safe neighborhood in Battle Creek. I have a fenced yard with good safety latches on the gates. I have a pool with a safety cover off-season (3ft safety barrier available-see photos). I heat with a solar cover, so house sitting while it’s open is not feasible unless you live nearby. Dogs are not allowed on the pool covers or in the pool. Dogs must stay on leash during a meet-n-greet at my house, as Rover does not cover those (donations appreciated). ( I do not own any pets or have children, and live alone. I can only adequately supervise 1 dog at a time around the pool. Bi-level home with carpeted stairs. It has been marked, so if that’s a potential issue, please look elsewhere.
20. Lindsay B.
“Our girls had a great time with Lindsay! Splashing in the river, chasing sticks and doing circles around trees!!! She did an amazing job with our crazy little nut and our sweet calm Aurora. Great job draining that energy!! Will be booking you for our next vaca for sure!”
