About: Hello! I have adored and been around pets my whole life, having grown up with and raised dogs (Collie, Husky, pomeranian, mini poodle), cats, birds, and fish. Being a Mother, nurse, and pet owner (currently a Turkish Van adult cat), my patience level is above average. I am experienced in leash walking small to medium size dogs and will never pass up a good game of fetch to help your pet burn energy. I enjoy both spunky and lazy cats, and respect their inquisitive nature. I am a short 13 minute drive from KCI Airport and would enjoy the opportunity to care for your pet during your next adventure. I look forward to discussing with you how I can help to meet your pets unique needs. Boarding rates cover a 24 hour time window, from drop-off to pick-up. Early drop-off or late pick-up times which extend past 24 hours will be an additional $1/hour.

“Heather works great with Rascal. Rascal recently had leash training and Heather works with him when she takes him out for his walk. Rascal is so good excited to see Heather when she comes.”

About: Hi! I’m Emily — a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet care pro. I work weekdays from 8–5, but I’m flexible and happy to collaborate on timing that works for you. Whether it’s early mornings, evenings, or weekend care, I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. I offer drop-ins, walks, and pet adventure packages with plenty of photo updates so you never miss a tail wag or silly face. You’ll get peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, loved, and having a great time. With 7+ years in pet care (including time at a busy pet hotel) and a current home full of chaos—one dog and four cats—I’ve worked with animals of all ages, temperaments, and needs. From zoomy puppies to shy senior cats, I adjust my approach to help each pet feel seen, safe, and calm. If your pup would benefit from a social walk, my dog Charlie may join — she’s polite, playful, and great at reading other dogs’ vibes. But solo care is always available too! New to Rover, but not new to pets. I’m here to connect with your furry family and make your time away feel a little easier — for both of you. 💬 My messages are always open — reach out anytime! I work full-time during the weekdays but have a flexible schedule after 5 PM for evening walks, check-ins, or cuddles. I also have open availability every other weekend and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits during those times. If your pet needs a consistent routine or you have special scheduling requests, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your pet! Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. I believe in personalized, intuitive care—every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what works best for your furry friend. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I’ll be highly selective to ensure a good fit for both your pet and my own crew. I require a meet-and-greet in advance, so I can understand your pet’s needs, temperament, and routine—and make the proper adjustments in my home to keep everyone happy and stress-free. If I’m visiting your home, I ask for a pre-meeting with your pup, ideally including a walk and a conversation about your expectations, your pet’s routine, and any special needs. I want to make sure we’re all comfortable and on the same page before you head out. I provide calm, consistent care, always attuned to your pet’s behavior and emotional needs. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, an energetic hike, or just some quiet company, I tailor every visit to make your pet feel safe, loved, and understood.

“Brandi came and walked my dog every day for several weeks while I was waiting for hip replacement. A definite plus for me. She varied her times around weather and the fact that my doggy gets hot if the sun is too much (she came in the evening).”

“Marie has been great with my high needs, high energy dog! She walks her everyday at just the right time and Raegan is much calmer when I get home. She is responsive to booking needs and even sends me picture updates. It's great because I worry about her all day when I'm at work.”

Emily M.
“Emily is a lifesaver! I highly recommend her and am so grateful I found her!! I have 2 former shelter cats who are very shy around new people but don’t do well being left alone. I was so nervous about finding the right person to watch them. Thankfully, Emily was so reassuring to me and my cats. She walked me through where my cats would stay and how she would make them comfortable. She’s a cat mom herself and is very patient, which helped reassure me. Both of my cats were sad to leave her when it was time for us to go home: they both booped their nose to her finger to say goodbye.”

“Mckenna came and took care of my cat Boo while I was out of town for the long weekend and did an amazing job. She provided me updates throughout the weekend and followed my exact directions when taking care of the cat. She respected my cat’s boundaries since my cat is a little finicky. Will definitely be hiring Mckenna again!”
