About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be available from 3 pm-8 pm. If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I currently own a cat, Higgins, who is a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I've been in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He's also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving him a pill. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: I’m reducing my current job schedule to part time as a mental health therapist in order to engage in my passions. With this in mind, I would love to direct my empathy, patience, and connection towards any animal(s). I currently own 3 cats and would want nothing but the best for them if I were to be away and so I will use this as my guide when keeping care of your pets. I have been around animals most of my life and have taken care of dogs, and cats primarily for family, friends, and strangers throughout my career experience. About: I have had pets my whole life. My first cat grew up with me. My parents got him while I was in Preschool. I have many fond memories of him, and used to help with his care whenever I could. I have house/dog sat for neighbors while I was growing up. I have experience raising a Pitbull, he was an awesome brindle coated sweetheart. He was my roommate's dog but I loved him as I would my own. I also raised a Shiba Inu, she was amazing. So beautiful, and loyal. She was my best friend for 14 wonderful years. Anyone who knows that breed knows that they can be especially challenging, but we got along great. I volunteer at Cascades Humane Society in Jackson. I love going there in my free time to walk dogs, cuddle or play with cats or just try to help with anything I can. Currently my close family (parents and siblings) have six dogs and six cats combined between all of us. I am also the Dogfather to some of them, and they would come to me if anything happened. Right now I have a 13 year old rescue cat named Daisy. She gets special food from the vet, and regular pills. She also gets lots of love and lap time. I also have a Norwegian Buhund puppy. He is super friendly and outgoing. I have walked dogs of all sizes and personalities. From Huskys that want to go, go, go! to lazy little dogs just want to sniff and stroll. With our own fur baby. We have a regimented feeding schedule with our cat. Breaking up her can of food into many smaller meals throughout the day to help her with her conditions. Our dog gets multiple daily walks and lots of attention as he is still just a pup and prone to “tasting” things he shouldn’t. We’re doing lots of redirection. I spent years as a maintenance man for a property management company. I also spent years as an appliance repair man. Respecting people, their homes, and furry friends is nothing new to me. I have been trying to absorb as much information about animal behavior as possible and do my best to communicate with animals in a way they understand. Giving your dog a friendly greeting is very different from how most people greet them. Some need some time and an indirect approach. Walking straight toward a dog head on is instinctually considered quite rude in canine interactions. Cats also have their own language and way of doing things. I try hard to always respect that.

About: My name is Megan and I have a huge passion for taking care of animals! I previously worked at two veterinary clinic where I was the receptionist as well as a veterinary assistant. There I helped administer medical care to all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, lizards, birds and small rodents. In addition, I have volunteered at two animal shelters where I walked dogs not only for exercise but also to increase their chances of being adopted. This included cleaning the kennels, feeding, and making sure the dogs had water, as well as play time. I also have a 5 year old kitty named Mochi and a 3 year old kitty boy named Finn, they are both playful and full of energy. This means I'm also available to take care of your kitty needs! I really enjoy being around animals and love taking care of them 💗 I always always always send photo and videos of your fur babies ! I am currently working a full-time job in Rockville, MD but work from home two days a week. I’m away from the home around 9 hours on the days that I work in office. If you are okay with that I can always stay with your pet and of course let them out in the morning and of course multiple times in the evening with extra playtime, walks, and loads of snuggles or spending time together if your pup or kitty isn’t the snuggling type :) can do drop in walks in the evening after 5:00 pm or anytime on Mondays. I will make sure to ask in-depth questions about your pets behavior, schedule, diet etc. I am very observant and watchful of the pets I am taking care of whether that be when we are having one on one time or out in public on walks I.e. making sure that if they are giving signs of being over stimulated or feeling anxious or scared I do what I can to redirect and to make them feel and stay safe! I would love to meet your pet first if possible so they are familiar with me and that way I can gage both mine and the pets comfort level!

About: I grew up in a 6 cat household at one point, so I have the most experience working with cats, however I've cared for many family members dogs while they are away, such as my sister's very active 5 year old, blue heeler mix (Sora) that she has had since 2021. I am comfortable caring for, feeding, playing, and walking small to medium dogs. My schedule is pretty flexible and open at the moment as I am studying to take a board certified exam and applying to future positions within my field. I can assist in early mornings, midday or in the evenings. Unfortunately since I have two cats at home, I am unable to board other animals at our location. I am flexible and adaptive to caring for your pets in your home for drop in visits, depending on their discussed needs.

About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

They have the sweetest souls and biggest hearts and I wouldn’t treat them any other way. I have one dog and I was raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. I treat my fur babies like family and how I would want to be treated. I am not only here to help you during your busy schedule but to become a friend to you and your fur baby. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. I would love to bring my golden retriever with me if your pets like to socialize and make new friends, he loves other dogs and gets along with them great, he is very social and has been to many dog parks and households with pets, but if not that is ok and my mom can help me care for him while I am gone. Also, I have a boyfriend that loves animals and has 2 children of his own, I would love if he could come hang out with me during my stay if the family was comfortable with it, but if not I can leave and visit him from time to time at his house. For drop in visits, I can assist at my base rate within a 7 mile radius and if it exceeds that I will ask for an additional rate to help with gas reimbursement towards a further commute. About: I’m Kourtni! I’m looking for a part time commitment taking care of your pet! I am new to Rover but I frequently watch friends pets. My whole life, animals have loved me. They’ve always preferred me over others. I’m great with dogs, cats, and small animals. I live in a manufactured home park, so I frequently can take your pet on walks and by the river with little to no traffic. I stock up on treats. I can administer medication to your pet. I’m not claiming to know everything there is to know about animals, all I know is I love them and care for them well and they love me! If you think I’d be a good fit for your animal please get ahold of me. :) As of 12/27/22: I am now only taking house sitting clients that are okay with me bringing my pet as well. He is potty trained, listens very well and has never been around a dog he doesn’t like. I’m an independent contractor and run my own small business, so I make my own schedule with my typical work life. Therefore, I can usually work around different schedules depending on every animals different needs. My pet is alone usually around 6 hours per day. I usually give him some snacks to keep him occupied. I do not have a fenced yard currently but hoping to at some point. Living in a park, I keep my dog on a 40 ft in ground leash, but while dog sitting I usually take the other dogs out on their walk leash.

About: I’ve never not had a dog in my life. Currently I have a turtle, 2 dogs and I watch my bosses dog all the time. I’ve always been good at taking care of animals and sensing their emotions and things they may need. I have a zoom class Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 6. I work Thursday - Friday but I can work visits or walks in between shifts. I’m very familiar with all different types of needs for your animal(s). I’ve crate trained dogs my whole life, I’m very experience in walking dogs, I walk strong pit bulls on a daily basis so any size I can handle.
