About: Despite loving and having owned all types of pets in my personal life, I have also worked in the pet care industry for just over 10 years now. From working in adoption facilities in my early twenties, to being a full time salaried dog nanny for a prestigious family in West Chester for years, managing 5 dogs at once. I have worked on farms and have experience with breeds such as Great Pyrenees’s and sporting breeds like flat coated retrievers. I have also been a regular and avid dog walker and trainer volunteering at local shelters for untrained and large dogs who need a little extra TLC. I am fortunate to work from home as an artist, so my schedule is incredibly flexible to accommodate any animals needs. I am available 24/7 to cater to each animals requirements as they differ from species to personality. In my home your dog will be treated like a loving family member the same as my own. I allow pets on furniture, and anticipate them wanting to stay near me throughout the day for regular attention and comfort. If your pet is not friendly with other dogs, I also have a fully finished basement that is seperated with a pet door with its own outside access directly across from the park I will be walking your dog at.

I don’t even LIVE in Delaware, but I attended my brother’s wedding there, and she literally SAVED MY LIFE at the last moment, and babysat my pup BLUE at the last minute! I reached out to her at 7:30 in the morning, for an afternoon drop off, and not only did she reply almost immediately to confirm some details, she accepted the booking! Ms. Rita is just as DELIGHTFUL, WARM, KIND, PROFESSIONAL, CARING, and OVERALL AMAZING as she may appear on this profile. I have never left my dog anywhere except for his groomer, and I was PLEASANTLY shocked at how well my dog took to her and her FABULOUS dog, and the other dog that she was watching. I made my brother’s wedding, and didn’t have to worry about my dog and his accommodations (dogs weren’t showered unfortunately) because I was so grateful for and confident in the care being provided by Ms. Rita. About: I grew up with dogs and have had cats as an adult. I love dogs but I travel too much to have my own, so pet sitting is the next best thing. I work from home and have good control over my schedule. I already take walk breaks during the day (including 45 min - 1 hour at lunchtime) and have a large fenced yard. I give lots of attention and cuddles to any dogs and cats in my care, and ensure plenty of playtime, running, and walks.
