About: I work as an assistant at a vet clinic, meaning I know how to handle medically and behaviorally demanding animals. I’ve been pet sitting for many years, from puppies to large dogs and many species, even once a squirrel. Pet care fits into my schedule around my work at the clinic. I have a lunch break during which I can drop in and let out dogs for a midday potty break, or if they can’t go longer than 4-6 hours alone, I can bring them with me to work. I have a lot of experience with animals because I work at a clinic. I believe each pet has individual needs specific to them and that they should deserve care tailored to them. My time at the clinic means I know what to look out for in the case of medical emergencies and allows me easy access to a medical provider for your pet.

I was worried about leaving him and Shelly responded quick every time I sent a message to check in or ask about something. She also stayed in touch with updates and pictures. Our house was clean just like we left it. He was so happy when we got home so I know he was given a lot of love and comfort while we were away. “I could see the love that Kylie had for animals when we first met with her. She came by twice in advance of our trip to get the dogs, especially Miller, comfortable with her. The only thing that keeps me from giving her 5 stars is that except for the first day, I had to initiate any check-ins with her. Once I did that, she sent pictures, updates, etc. She did say her messages were not going through but I would expect, since she had my number, she would send text updates. I hope she gets that resolved, as I would book with her again.”

She made sure they got plenty of walks, attention, and quality time, and it was clear that the dogs absolutely loved having her around. She also went above and beyond in caring for our home. She stripped the guest bed and put the sheets and towels in the washer, washed the dishes, and kept everything clean. Toni was wonderful to work with, and we truly appreciated the care she gave to both our dogs and our home. About: I've cared for many pets during my life including exotics, cats, dogs, and birds in all age groups from babies to seniors. I will treat your fur babies like my own. I am currently retired with my husband. We eschool our twin boys during the day. I can pop out to do pet care and have a flexible schedule. We do travel a lot during school breaks and in the summer. I am eager to help out with home visits or walks. I enjoy all kinds of pets and don't shy away from those who need special care. Typically I visit dogs in their homes three times per day at whatever schedule works best for the pet and me. Some may need more or less visits and I can be flexible. I do not care for dogs or cats in my home. My two cats don't like other pets, unless it's a pet that lives in a small crate or cage, such as a guinea pig.

I’m a Veterinary Technician and I work at a pretty flexible job where I work 4 days a week and get two hour lunch breaks. Having the extra time over lunch allows me to check on pets mid day and do walks/meds/lunch feedings etc. I usually do care in clients homes rather than my own. However, watching pets in my home can be worked as long as they get along with other dogs and cats. I have two very dog friendly dogs and a couple very happy and cuddly cats!

She stayed in our home for four evenings caring for our 3 dogs, our cat, and even our fish, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. She sent consistent photo and text updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and made it easy to actually relax while we were away. She went above and beyond in so many ways that made a real difference. She washed her dishes, did the hand towels she used, took the time to get our cat’s fountain running again using somewhat tedious directions, and even handled cleaning up some unexpected basement flooding after a major storm. Everything was taken care of thoughtfully and without us having to worry. We came home to a house that looked and smelled incredible. It was spotless, organized, and she paid attention to the smallest details, like setting lights back exactly how we had left them. It genuinely felt like walking into a calm, cared-for space instead of coming home to a to-do list. This experience honestly felt so much better than having a friend or family member help out. There was no guilt, no worrying about being a burden, and no second guessing anything. On top of everything else, she is just a genuinely kind, warm, and easy person to communicate with. I was honestly a little sad we didn’t get more time to be home and connect with her because she is such a joy to be around. We tried to make her feel welcome with snacks, cash, and a few small take-home gifts, but it still doesn’t feel like enough compared to the level of care she gave our home and our pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and love providing a safe living home where your animals feel loved and safe.
