About: For the past year, I have spent every Wednesday night volunteering at my local dog rescue. I feed, clean, administer medication, and play with the rescued dogs. We have two senior dogs that need extra care, and we also take care of dogs that have been injured or are sick. I have almost two years of experience volunteering at the local cat rescue as well, and I'm known to be an animal whisperer. I have three cats of my own, and know that pets truly are family members. Normally I go in the evenings to the dog rescue around 5 o'clock to feed the animals before going home. It has become a weekly ritual for me outside of taking care of my own cats. I won't be able to keep client's pets at my own house, since my cats are very possessive. I am available for check ins or overnight stays.

“Mike was great! We just moved into a new home so our baby girl was in a more protective state than normal. Mike took the time to come out not once, but twice! to make sure she was comfortable with him before we confirmed our booking. By the end of his stay, she was giving him hugs so she loved him so much. Our baby boy is still such a pup and Mike was patient with him. He left our home as he found it and sent us pictures while we were gone so we could see our babies having fun. It was so nice to not have to worry about them knowing that they were being well cared for while we were gone. We definitely would like to book Mike for any future trips we take.”

About: I have take care of many different pups of all breeds and personalities. This includes my own, family and friends, volunteering at shelters and even the local dog wash. I'm currently starting school part-time so I'll have plenty of time to walk, take care of, and play with your pets! I'm mostly available with flexibility and depending upon my schedule, some days I'm fully free! I'm very cautious in following instructions and needs of any pet. I'm good at keeping pups at a good walking pace, I love playing with pets to keep them active, and I'll set extra timers and keep set schedules for your pet's eating habits.

About: I like to pay close attention to the detailed care list left by their owners so their pets are happy babies and their routines are met. I love sending pictures and updates to owners so they have a sense of peace when their babies are left with me. I have a great neighborhood for walks to get your baby out of the house if necessary. Please note: my availability is Fridays after 5:30pm. Thank you 💕 I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday. I have pretty relaxed weekends, which makes more time for me to love on your fur babies when you need a weekend away or a planned trip. I live in a condo with a great community that is very safe and a lot of outdoor amenities which makes for a great stroll outside. I had a mini Pomeranian that unfortunately passed due to heart complications in April 2026. So I now spend my free time at home doing crafts or enjoying the sunshine. “Our original house sitter (not from Rover) cancelled about a week away from departure. Because of the timing there were no kennel options (we don't do cheap with the babies), and Rover past sitters were all unavailable. Stephen came up with no previous jobs in this area but seemed ok on the site. So with our previous good experiences with Rover we decided to give him a try. He came over for about an hour the day after we picked him to meet the doggies and find out about the house which is large with a lot of automation. By the end of that meeting we were comfortable with his abilities. While we were away, he checked in with us daily, sent pictures and asked good questions on things that I had forgot to mention. The doggies took to him right away and ate well (one gets finnicky if he is worried) while having a good time with him. We always tell house sitters to make themselves at home and have never had a problem with the condition of the house when we returned. Stephen was no exception, he left the house clean, vacuumed, dishes clean and left the bedding as instructed by my wife. One of our dogs is very good at escaping and runs across roads, through yards and can get lost. Stephen apparently had no problems keeping Henry busy but, on a leash, outside of the house as observed on the outdoor Ring cameras during walks. We (including the doggies) look forward to seeing him again. We would highly recommend him for your consideration.”

About: I have been a veterinary technician for 3 years, and have experience working with and caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and rodents of all ages (a few days old-senior ages) for 10+ years. I currently work full-time at a veterinary clinic, but normally have 2-3 days off and often have scheduled half days where I am able to tend to my own pets as well as other people’s pets. I have a large yard and love walking, so your baby will get plenty of exercise. I also have cats and a dog, all of which are very friendly and well socialized, to keep your babies entertained and keep them company.

I've had experience with puppies, Rottweilers, Great Danes, German Shepherds, Blue Heelers, Herding breeds, and small and medium sized mixed, rescue dogs. I also have a baby of my own, his name is TikoMan, and he is an energetic, loving border collie. Tiko is very smart and knows all kinds of tricks that I taught him, he is a picky eater, gets lots of cuddles, loves to run and play, and goes on all the trips we take. He loves the water! I have experience teaching puppies tricks, dealing with multiple dogs and cats at a time, understanding their overall needs (based on breed differences as well), and handling senior dogs and cats that may need additional care needs, medications, and assistance. I'm currently looking for full-time pet care for your needs - available at any time! I have a 3 bedroom home with an acre worth of yard if you need me to sit in my home. I can walk your pets, sit in your home for you to make your pet(s) most comfortable, and adhere to any feeding schedules, play, cleaning, and other needs to keep them happy! I have a big home and yard (it is unfenced but your dog will be okay if able to be off leash, or I can make sure he/she is leashed for peace of mind. I will adhere to any feeding, walking, and other needs per requested schedules, and am available to come to your home if preferred as I understand many would like to watch cameras and make sure all is well with your fur baby!

About: I've had a familiarity with animals since a child. I enjoy speaking( even though they dont speak back) and giving attention to pets to build a loving, trusting, bond I Am not very busy in general so am able to take care of companions at almost any time of the day or night as needed. About: I grew up with pets personally, one large dog, and one small dog. I also job shadowed at a local animal shelter, where I’ve bathed dogs. I have a full-time as well as a part-time job, but would love to do something on the weekends to make them more productive and exciting. I am available Saturdays and Sundays. I do not have a fenced in yard but anytime I need to take a dog out I can always bring a leash. I’m the type of person who will go outside with the dog and not just let them go out and wander. I’m very cautious and observant. When it comes to inside the house, I will be sure to keep doors closed and anything that I know they can get into out of reach.
