About: I have a wide range of experience in caring for 1-30+ dogs at a time. I’ve cared for numerous family and friends’ dogs, hunting dogs, and I’ve worked for two boarding/daycare businesses over the last 3 years. I have experience working with dogs who have seizures, and in administering a wide range of medications. I care for dogs and kids by appointment, so I’m very flexible! I’m currently working more during the week until August, then my schedule during the week will open up more! I can care for your doggo in your home so that they’re the most comfortable, and so they can stick to their routines! I’m happy to run around and play with them and take them for walks; I’m also very happy to be a couch potato with them! About: Hi, my name is Ashley! I took a break from Rover but am back and ready to roll. Please be advised I live in Chesapeake and work 8am am to 5pm in Virginia Beach. I have 2 remote work days per week, but they sometimes change. I've had all kinds of pets: rats, hedgehogs, a pig, dogs, and cats. I've also worked at an animal sanctuary where I took care of horses, chickens, and other livestock and large animals. I've watched neighbors, friends, and family member's pets before. I can't imagine a life without pets in it. We have a VERY large back yard for dogs to run around in (see photos). Your pet will have their own puppy vacation while you are on yours! I am not currently boarding pets in my own home. BUT I love to get my steps in and going on walks with pets, visit them at their home, and do house sitting. Being a pet parent is a full time job. Whether it's waking up early, making sure they get their last potty breaks before bed, and everything in between, it's important to make time for pets. I work for the City of VB M-F 8am to 4:30 pm, plus my husband and 18y/o daughter live with me as well. Overall, someone is typically available before 9am and after 4pm to be at home M-F. We are also off on major holidays. Our pets are our babies and best friends, so they are a major priority in our schedule. I have a large fenced in backyard with lots of running room. My own pups like to have puppy pool parties in their plastic kiddie play pool. They have lots of toys. Get daily walks, go to the dog park once a week to socialize, get baths, and of course get regular vet visits. We go above and beyond for our fur babies. Our cat gets similar treatment and has his own room where his litter box, food, and water, that has a cat door on it so the dogs can't get in.

About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals for the past 8 years, and I’m also a cat owner myself. I really enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I work full-time but have gaps in my day where I can check on your fur babies and make sure they are thriving in their home. I can pick up on behavior quickly and would love to take care of them in an environment they know and already love. I would love to meet them ahead of time to establish trust.

About: I have a trained my own dog from when he was only 8 weeks and I understand the care and exercise dogs need each day. I’m currently working part time at night and have the time to give the little one the attention and care they need. I also have a camera set up for my little one so I can see what’s going on if I need to leave the house. It depends on the little one’s needs, if they are anxious or more relaxed. I adjust to whatever he/she needs. If they need to be crated or if they just need to be cuddled on the couch. I also, have a Pomsky that loves to play and will keep your little one company.

With us, you can be sure that your dog will be in the hands of someone who enjoys dogs and their loving nature! == MEET AND GREETS == We personally do not require meet and greets but are more than willing to accomodate your request to have one, as we understand and value a mutually harmonious fit between all parties. Meet and greets will take place in the front yard and be limited to 10-15 minutes. Also, please know that we do not give tours due to liability reasons, however there are pictures on our profile to reference if needed. Our home is spacious, safe, secure and clean! Please let us know as soon as possible about any adjustments needed. == DURING YOUR PUPS STAY == Upon a dog's first arrival, we strictly monitor their interactions with any other dog to be aware of any dynamics we need to be concerned about. We do not hesitate to separate dogs into different play areas if anything seems off. Our property is fully fenced on all sides, and we have gates to keep even the best escape artist pups safe. Dogs have full access to our entire downstairs which open up to a well-maintained fenced in yard. == FEEDING == During feeding time, your dog will fed in their crate or a play pen area to prevent food aggression and upset stomachs caused by consuming foreign dog food of other pups. == SLEEPING == Crate-trained dogs will sleep in crates (please specify if your dog is used to a certain size, as we have a wide variety of sizes available. Dogs who are not crate trained will sleep in a pen. Special accommodations can be made for dogs who are not able to do either of those. == WALKS == While it is our goal to make sure each dog get proper exercise and socialization, we do not provide walks during boarding due to liability and risk factors involved with walks (dogs escaping from harness, eating something off the side walk, coming into contact with an unfriendly dog, etc). We do, however give them plenty of outdoor time with the other dogs or solo to socialize and play, which we find is ample exercise for the pups that stay with us. REQUESTED INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PET Prior to dropping off, please fill out your dog's bio as much as possible. == THINGS WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG == -Is your pup sick and/or contagious? -Quirks or habits that would be helpful to know (humping, chewing on paws, separation anxiety, excessive barking, etc). -Current or past illnesses, injuries, or traumatic history/triggers. -If they are taking any medication or require any special care instructions. -Is your pup up to date on vaccinations and flea & tick medication. We understand vaccines are not bulletproof and that some illnesses may have an extended incubation period but we highly recommend the vaccines to create the safest experience. *Please know that we are unable to care for sick/contagious dogs. If your pup shows any signs of disease or illness, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure you receive a proper refund. If we discover that your pup is exhibiting obvious symptoms of disease with the first 12 hours with us, your dog will need to be picked up and no refund will be issued. I work 2-3 days a week. Spouse is a stay at home mother. One of us is always at home and available to give your fur baby all of the attention that they need! Trustworthy military member (20 yrs of active-duty service). We can provide care in our home or come to you. I also work as a full-time volunteer for Chesapeake Humane Society helping with dog care team and enrichment.

“Hannah did an excellent job watching our elderly Pride. She gave him tons of love and attention. Sent pictures when he wasn't in motion (which can be difficult even for older boxers). She went above and beyond by rolling the trash can back after pickup and left the house exactly as she found it (even offering to wash sheets/towels). Definitely recommend!”

About: I have pet sit for many people! I enjoy hanging out with dogs and even cats. I have 2 dogs of my own! I know how to give oral medication as well. Anytime someone is in need of a pet sitter, I am there! If it needs to be 5 days out of 7 days, I’m there! Of course feedings the animals, walking them, making sure they’re hydrated and get plenty of potty time! They will receive lots of love and affection and lots of play time! I am also great at keeping the place i’m pet sitting at, all nice and clean!

As a college student majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science at the University of Maine, I have a passion for caring for animals.
