I’ve cared for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention, as well as helped train puppies to build good habits. I’m working as an intern where I choose my hours so I’m extremely flexible with my schedule to incorporate what is needed! I am eager to spend any time needed. Whether it’s sticking to their regular feeding and exercise schedule, providing extra patience for seniors, reinforcing training for puppies, or helping anxious pets feel at ease, I adapt to what works best for them. I also make sure they get plenty of engagement—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just companionship—so they’re not just cared for, but truly looked after while you’re away.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for three dogs over an extended period. I’ve consistently been responsible for feeding, walking, grooming, and spending quality time with them. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and I love getting outside for a good walk! I will be working full time, but with advanced notice I will adjust my schedule to accommodate your needs and making sure your pets are well take care of. Advanced notice is appreciated, but I will accept work with less notice if I can accommodate it! I will care for pets in your home, and I will make sure that they’re well taken care of so you can relax while you’re away. However you need your pets taken care of, I’ve got you covered!

About: I currently have 2 dogs of my own and have cared for many pets through Rover, friends, family, and neighbors. I take the time to connect with animals and get to know them well. One of our dogs has a history of reactivity so I have experience with challenging behaviors and training. I have the patience required to care for animals that are timid or exuberant. While living in North Carolina, my wife, Ellie, and I were Rover sitters for 3 years. Now that we live in Virginia, she is working full-time as a teacher and I am self-employed as a carpenter/handy-man. My schedule is flexible and I will prioritize your pet’s needs as I create my daily plans. I am detail-oriented and will be sure to follow all instructions provided by the client. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority. I will care for your house and animals alike as I understand that it requires a lot of trust to share these things with a pet sitter.
