I'd never dropped Roscoe off at a sitter without doing a meet-and-greet first, and was a little nervous about how he would do with four children, but Leslie put my mind at ease. About: I've owned a small dogwalking/pet sitting business since 1999. I am CPDT-KA certified in dog training as well. I've worked with all breeds of dogs, ages with many different dispositions. My husband & I moved from Brooklyn(where we had our biz since 2006) to New Paltz this summer. We are continuing to do personal & very limited boarding in our new home. I am also offering private training sessions(in your home) . I specialize in puppy or newly adopted pups/dogs. Doggie care is part of my daily routine. I have 2 dogs of my own, both less energy less days, but still enjoy getting their walks & sniffs in. The very limited boarding means your dogs stay with our family, always supervised & leashed outside. We have many dogs beds but can bring your own.

“Natalie and her home, inside and out, are meant for the love of dogs! Natalie is intuitive with a dog's behavior and body language. Her home is meant to be a dog's BnB and sanctuary. Inside is AC and temperature controlled, with lots of toys and sensory items for any pooch. Outdoors, fenced yard, nature, and upcoming upgrades/renovations just for dogs... Our Oscar loved Natalie, got lost in her space, and stayed with her when they went on walks. We will all be back!”

“I loved the daycare for our dog (LOVE). Sandra and her husband took very good care of her and treated her like their own and made her feel like home the whole entire time there. I was at ease knowing she was in good hands and loved that they have been in touch the whole time sending photos and videos of her at all times. She looked so happy and not crying like she usually does away from us, I would 100% recommend them both. I truly say they both are to trust and are great dog people to all because of how they were with mine. I will definitely be booking with them again for sure ! thank you again for everything 😌 very satisfied !”

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 and was given my miniature Australian Shepard at that age. She passed in 2020 and although I havent had another dog since, I am happy and comfortable around dogs. I work at an animal hospital on the West side and love it. I worked at AMC for two years as a veterinary assistant which confirmed for me I am in the right field. I am currently SAH so I have ample time to walk pets/ pet sit for anyone that needs assistance in their everyday lives. As long as I have notice I can manage anything I make sure I have many toys and bowls of water/food for the pets. I know about mannerisms for pets and am comfortable giving space or playing with pets that need it. All depends on what they want/ are comfortable with

About: Hi, I'm Manuela I've had dogs my entire life, and caring for them is truly my passion. I've also volunteered as a foster home for dogs rescued from high-risk shelters, so I have experience with pups from all kinds of backgrounds — especially those needing a little extra love and patience. At home, I live with my sweet, spayed female dog named Mocca. She's very friendly and gets along well with others, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to play with and feel at ease around! Whether you're looking for a day sitter or need someone you can trust while you're away, I provide a safe, loving environment where your dog will be treated like family. I also speak Spanish, so feel free to reach out in either language! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so I’m always available to give your dog the attention, care, and companionship they deserve throughout the day. I’m also available to go for a walk or take a trip to the dog park since it’s only 5 min away from home. We also have a fenced yard, giving your pup a safe and secure space to play, explore, and burn off some energy while being safe.

About: I’m a mommy of two furbabies, Freya and Medea, the chihuahua sis. My husband and I are both animal lovers and have own dogs our whole life and we are excited to offer a safe and caring experience for your furbaby when needed! Note: Freya and Medea dislike cats, therefore, we are unable to take any cat guests. I do apologize for this inconvenience. I’m currently working on a hybrid schedule where I work from home most of the times so your furbaby will hardly be left alone. If I have to go into the office, it would be no more than 4 hours (once or twice a week at most). If guest pet ever need to be left alone, you will be notified ahead of time and our furbabies will be separated in a different room. We have a ginormous fenced in backyard that your furbaby can roam around throughout the day with our two 10-yo laid back-couch potatoes chihuahua sisters, Freya and Medea. I’m a helicopter dog mom so rest assured no pups will be left outside with no supervision. Pups are allowed on furnitures, welcomed to sleep with us, and will never be crated (unless instructed otherwise). We are homebodies and have plenty of time to entertain and love on your furbaby! Please feel free to reach out to inquire for our availability! We strive to provide the best care for our fur-guests. Spending time away from human-parents and being in a stranger home can be a stressful time, we will do our best to make them feel like a part of our pack. To provide the safest stay, we only take in fur-guests from the same family at a given time.

About: I have had cats all of my life and dogs for at least the latter half of it. I can care for sick and elderly dogs and cats and can administer medications, even by subcutaneous injections. I am a mature man, available on a regular basis. My Golden Retriever and I look forward to sharing our time with your beloved pets. I do not have a fenced yard, and I do own a Golden Retriever. So, I do have limitations and restrictions when it comes to boarding. Regardless of whether I care for your pet in your home or in mine, they will receive gentle, loving treatment from an experienced pet daddy.

About: Our pets change our lives for the better and I want to make sure they’re well taken care of too. By making connections via talking, playing, training, and grooming I pride myself in providing full care for my furry friends. I make training fun and learn their individual strengths! Pet care is an essential part in my daily routine. Each day begins by walking my pup, refreshing her water and food bowls. At the end of the day, I’m cleaning and prepping to start out routine over, putting toys away and doing our last walk of the night. I love taking my pups out downtown or to the dog park. If it’s dog-friendly, why aren’t we bringing the beans?! Everyone is always happy, fed, hydrated, and well played with. Pet hygiene and environmental cleanliness go hand in hand. I like to make sure I’m keeping my home clean for my pets. After all they play, lounge, and sleep in our home. The least we can do is make sure the space is free of dangerous objects or potential choking hazards. We also use pet gates in our home to ensure pet safety when cooking/cleaning/moving furniture.

Maria & Doug S.
“Maria and Doug have been watching our very high maintenance Frenchie for almost 8 years! Our fur baby is our everything, and they treat her like their own. They've done everything for our girl - daily walks, boarding when we go on vaca, even emergency pop ins. And our dog Margaux LOVES them. When I tell her that she's going to see Maria and Doug today, she wiggles her whole body in the cutest way. Maria and Doug have also given us great tips and ideas (this is our first dog) - from stimulation games to treat tactics! They are true animal lovers with a ton of knowledge. Also, Maria takes the sweetest photos of the pups she watches - the shots she can get with a bunch of dogs on a stoop are seriously amazing and adorable. I truly can't say enough great things about Tails on the Town - they are just the best.”

“Dave is the most caring human I know. He is a wonderful dog dad. He and his Service Dog go for 2mile walks most days. We enjoy our puppy play dates!”

Heather T.
“Heather is so wonderful with pets, she cared for my dog while I was away. She was so good to her, taking her out on walks and feeding her at her proper times. She was kind, and my dog was safe and happy in her care. I may be biased as a friend, but she is also a fellow dog owner, and her dog is so well loved. She plays, spends time, properly feeds, and walks her dog on a nice schedule. That dog of hers is the happiest baby I've ever seen when Heather's around. Sincerely, I would reach out to her again.”
