“Cassidy provided wonderful care for my girl, pepper. Pepper has a lot of energy and some separation anxiety and Cassidy did a great job meeting those needs and always kept me updated with photos and detailed messages. 🙏🏼”

“Alexander arrived on time and communicated throughout the stay. The house was tidy upon our return. Alexander put in additional effort by watering our plants when he noticed they were drooping and refilled my hummingbird feeders. Our two dogs were well cared for and we are sure they barely noticed we weren’t around!”

“Chantal was amazing with my dog. She had a hard time with new people but Chantal was calm and great and my dog warmed up very nicely. The house was left clean which was a huge relief 😅”

“Bevin paid close attention to instructions and didn’t hesitate to ask for clarification when needed. She regularly sent photos, which provided reassurance that the kitties did not stay in their hiding place, but were comfortable hanging out with her. She left the place in tip-top shape. Bevin is responsible and caring. I would definitely contact her again for pet/house-sitting.”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of pets since I can remember. My family has had three dogs, four chickens, and a cat in my life with different needs and routines. I love animals and am able to adapt my pet sitting style based on their needs. My pet sitting experience ranges from a miniature schnauzer puppy to an old farm dog retriever. I work at Buena Luz bakery early in the morning, which means I am off from work by 3pm at the latest. I am a morning person, so I don’t mind having to wake up early to make sure the pets need to go to the bathroom or get fed. My shifts also include a thirty-minute break, so I can run over to the house to do a quick check-in, if necessary. I am very detail-oriented, so I can follow any routine or set of care instructions precisely. Pets can be like an extra family member, and I understand how it is important to find someone you can trust to take care of them like so. I approach every new pet I meet with love and care, and will make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If there are any special needs or time where a pet needs, I make sure to set alarms and reminders so I don’t forget. When I interact with a pet, I make sure to read their body language so I don’t overstep any boundaries they may have.

“According to Bailey, our Maltese, Pat treated him with attention and affection like never before (except from us) while we were away on Christmas vacation: he frankly hated to see her leave. Pat responded to our enquiry promptly and met with us on two occasions to get all the details regarding staying in our home, including Bailey's culinary details and exercise and sleeping preferences. Upon our return we found everything as we had left it and a very happy Bailey eager to have us go on another vacation in order to have fun with Pat again. We highly recommend Pat as she saved the situation for us. Initially, we did some "interviews" with a local kennel but were rejected since all Bailey did during the "all day trial" was try to escape. On future trips, Pat will be the first person we'll contact for the job.”

“Joy was a great sitter for our energetic pup and a good steward with our 121 yr old home!! It was fun seeing pics of her interacting with our WitchHazel, and the the house was just as clean as when we’d left it! Looking forward to calling upon her in the future! Highly recommend her”

“Stacy stepped in when the sitter we planned could not take Bandit. He is an older dog with a few physical issues. They both got to know each other and it worked out and Bandit was happy. It was a great relief for us traveling at Christmas time. We felt that she did an outstanding job. I would recommend Stacy as a sitter.”

“Crystal was wonderful. Our pup was immediately calm and comfortable with her. She was a great communicator and sent us regularly updates. She took our dog out on adventures and walks and gave her lots of snuggles. It was our first time leaving our pup with someone who wasn’t a close friend or family, but crystal was so supportive and trustworthy. She left our house clean and tidy and our dog was calm and tuckered out when we got home. We feel so grateful to know we can leave town when we need to and that our dog will be in great hands. Thank you so much!”

About: Throughout my whole life I've had at least two pets in my household. There have been an abundant number of dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and even a snake at one point (his name was Muffin!) that were partially or wholly my responsibility. Whether they were my own or family furry (and scaly) friends, I've loved them with my whole heart. I wish to provide you with the security of a long-time pet owner when it comes to your own loved ones. As someone who is currently unemployed, I'm free almost all the time. I would hope no scheduling conflicts would arise because I am a chronic over-planner. Time is precious to me, so I like to make sure I have everything in order. To let someone into your own home, let alone tell them you where you reside, is a risk I understand well. I can promise whether you book me as a walker or a sitter that your address will remain strictly between you (the pet parent) and I.

About: I have taken care of animals and I have had multiple different kinds myself. I love all kinds of animals and like to show them love like they show us. Im currently home all day with the kids. My husband works days but is home at night. We also have a teenager in the home who is very responsible and will help out. I have two friendly dog and two catswe have a small yard but like to go on walks. We are outside as much as we can.

About: I have cared for a wide range of dog breeds including; Rottweilers, Labradores, Shi tzus, Pugs, Border Collies, Great Pyrenees, Terriers, Beagles, mutts and more. I love the variety of energies in dogs and I appreciate their ability to live in the moment and help us to do so as well. I want to share in your dogs’ joy and zest for life. I can keep up with the energy of a young pup to the easy-going and slow pace of life of an elderly dog family member. I am currently not working full-time, so I should have plenty of time to provide any care, enrichment or play you need for your fur babies’ lives. I currently have a very flexible schedule and can respond on shorter notice. I’m very adaptive and flexible to new environments and stipulations, so caring for your pets’ specific needs in their environment is quite achievable for me. I have a great strength in attention to details and I will leave your pets and your home better than I found them every time.

About: I have taken care of dogs of my own and other people’s dogs and cats since I was around 10, and have been involved in dog training since I was 13, even training my own service dog. I also dabble in dog walking. I used to work at a pet supply store that had store cats, and one of my daily chores was taking care of them, too. So I am well versed in dog AND cat care. I am currently working part time with weekends completely freed up, so I can be available in the later afternoons, and evenings, and early mornings. At my own home I have a fenced yard, but if you need me to crate your dog or if you have your own safety preferences I am definitely willing to work with them. In your home it is obviously whatever rules you have for your house, and I will follow them.

About: I only learned of Rover about 4-5 months ago when I was searching for help for myself! When I travel and couldn't bring my dog I needed someone to walk and play while the hubby was at work. While I found this support, through the app, I still wasn't finding all the things that would make a TOP NOTCH Pet sitter for us. So here are JUST SOME of the things I bring to the table and was looking for myself... 1. Advance food healing (Someone that is willing and able to MAKE the specialty food my dog was requiring) 2. Pre/post surgery or mobility massage for our furry friends (I have 25+ years humans / 2 animals) 3. Mini Training with every walk. 4. Decluttering, as I am a Professional Organizer and 5. All animals: Reptile, feathered, or furry, two or more legs, you name it. Those are just a few things that set me apart. Yet all thr basics are there as well from newbie to oldie. I do have freedom with my own schedule. Yet I also run a very successful business. I can however, be available sometimes last minute so don't let that fool ya! Always reach out, you never know! Some of my friends and clients say, "If I were to come back as pet, I'd want to be yours!! If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what would?

“Veronica is our dogs new best friend! Veronica was our puppies 1st sitter and she exceeded our expectations (which are high)! I don’t have children, so you understand. We’ll use Veronica again!”

Veronica W.
“Veronica has taken care of our pets several times over the past two years. She has always been attentive to their needs and communicative with us during our time away. I highly recommend her as a responsible, caring, trustworthy pet-sitter.”

Tia B.
“Tia is the "dog whisperer"! She and dogs seem to have kindred spirits as they tend to warm up to her faster than to other people. Tia B. has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and enjoys their company which seems to resonate with the doggies. She gets to know each dog on a personal level and tailors each dog's needs to them when she trains them or just spends time with them. While there are some people who go gaga over babies, Tia B. goes gaga over puppies; so, it's safe to say that she is definitely a "dog-person" and happily so. To Tia, animals are not pets; rather, they are family members deserving of mutual love and respect, which she pours out abundantly on her own "fur-babies". If you are looking for someone who will treat your beloved doggies and "fur-babies" just like family, then there is no better person than Tia B.”

Kristina J.

“Kristina was awesome and responsive and took great care of my pups. Didn’t barely leave a trace in the house and I had an overall pleasant experience working together.”
