I am comfortable with young and old, some behavior challenges, medication and am open to continuing training that is in progress. We can start with a morning walk. Later, an afternoon walk as I love to walk. I also have a fenced yard area if they’d like to hang outside. I work from home am happy to care for and provide ample company for your doggie. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with access to the discovery trail as well as a large field for play and walks. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirecting unwanted behaviors.

Very easy communication, her place is made for all kinds of dogs, lots of space in and outdoors, tons of toys, baby gates, blankets, beds.. About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in biology and would like to attend veterinary school in the near future. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I am familiar with medicating pets such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

About: I grew up with a family dog and six years ago, I got one of my own. I adopted her when she was 8 weeks old, so I have been through the puppy faze. I have trained her and am currently rehabbing her over an injury so I can also administer medicine. At my home, dogs have access to a secure, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and exercise, along with a clean, calm indoor space for rest. I supervise interactions closely and ensure all dogs are a good fit before accepting bookings. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions.

Not to mention, her cute and friendly dog Frankie! They have a nice sized yard for Boo to run around and play. Kelsey kept us updated about Boo’s trips and activities. We are visiting from out of town, and booked Stacy to watch Moose so we could explore some areas that aren’t dog friendly. It was a wonderful day for us all, and I will definitely rebook when we come back to this area. Stacy sent several pictures of Moose throughout the day and kept me posted with how she was settling in, we well as gave us some recommendations of things in town to do, eat, and see. Moose didn’t even turn around once she’d trotted off with Stacy, and she seems calm and happy picking her up.”
