About: I have loved dogs all my life! Between working on my grandparents farm and volunteering at my local animal shelter as a dog walker, I have gained plenty of experience dealing with dogs of all sizes and ages. About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

Ben was such a meticulous dog walker and care giver. So professional and very sweet to our girls Frankie and Lola. He gave thorough reports and pics. They proved to be a handful in that they had some separation anxiety and he had to deal with some issues but he was experienced and gentle throughout. I was super impressed and would highly recommend him.
10+/5 STARS! Ted (and his wife!) are my superheroes! I got unexpectedly stranded at the ER w/just few short hours left to remotely find care for my cat & my dog, already stuck in crate for hours. All the sitters replied "unavailable", but Ted responded "yes" & IMMEDIATELY jumped to action! He even brought his wife to help! I am so grateful to both for responsiveness, understanding and compassion, and for their INSTANT action and patience to operate in my messy place (I was amidst major cleaning when these unforeseen events happened)! Ashley was so sweet to work with! From the meet and greet to her providing drop in visits for our pup, Ashley was truly great! A few days before Ashley was going to drop in, our pup got sick and Ashley showed genuine concern and care for our girl and was so patient and understanding as we decided what to do. Given Ashley’s attention to animal’s health and safety, we felt comfortable leaving our improving pup in Ashley’s care. Over the course of her drop in visits Ashley provided thorough updates (and lots of pics). Our pup is a very anxious girl and Ashley was so patient, giving our pup the time and space she needed to warm up to someone unfamiliar. We are highly satisfied with the care our pup received from Ashley, and appreciate the kindness and generosity she showed our family.
Alyssa was great overall. She communicated well and she responded back in a timely manner. I gave her the flexibility to check in with my dog, Piper, whenever she wanted as long as it was in 12 hr increments. She picked her times and stuck to it. She showed up on time and stayed for the whole duration of each check in. She was patient with my dog who took a little time to warm up. She did a good mix of activities by playing with her inside and outside the house and cuddling her. She took many pictures and videos which was a nice reminder while I was away on a trip. Some of the pictures are even dog calendar worthy lol. Piper only had one accident and Alyssa was truthful and efficient with the cleaning. I appreciate her time and would definitely book her again in the future.
