About: As a military kid, I’ve had the unique experience of living in many different places and connecting with a wide variety of pets and their owners. I’ve helped care for dogs in all sorts of situations, whether it’s working with skittish pups who need extra patience getting in the house, or supporting friends through tough circumstances by stepping in for walks, drop-ins, or extended house sitting. What truly sets me apart is my calm, loving approach and my attentiveness to each pet’s individual needs. I’m especially vigilant when it comes to health and dietary restrictions, making sure pets stay safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s a puppy who needs structure or a senior pet who needs extra gentleness, I’m here to provide consistent care, and of course, plenty of cuddles, rubs, and love. My schedule differs week-by-week but I am part-time. So, any time on the calendar that I have free, I will be attentive. I can do house-sitting whenever needed. Morning drop-ins are also easily manageable for me. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment that keeps tails wagging and whiskers twitching. I stick closely to each pet’s routine. From feeding and walks to medications and cuddle time, to help them feel secure while you’re away. I’m always mindful of house rules (both yours and your pet’s), and I go the extra mile to make sure dietary needs, exercise, and comfort are all taken care of.

About: I have always been an animal lover and have worked with all kinds of animals over the years. This includes dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and more! I’ve walked and pet sat dogs all over my neighborhood growing up. I currently volunteer at my local humane society when I have time where I walk and play with the shelter animals to ensure they get all the love they deserve. I love spending time with animals and I guarantee I will take the best care of your fur babies like they are my own. I really want a dog of my own but I can’t take on the financial burden as a working college student, which is why I chose to start working on Rover! Pet care works with my weekly routine because I am a student with most of my classes online. This gives me the flexibility to come and visit pets at various times and for either shorter or longer periods. I like to be active and move my body every day, so dog walking is a great way to do that. I make sure they are comfortable and happy. It can be stressful for them when their family is gone, so it is good to keep them exercised, occupied and fed. All dogs have different temperaments and energy levels, so I curate my care to fit their needs best. Also, if there are any indications of abnormal behavior or discomfort I will alert the owner asap. Safety and Comfort are a big priority for me.

“Sydney was amazing with my Brady. She gave me constant updates with pictures and loved him as if he was her own. I had a lot of last minute changes and she was super flexible. I will definitely use her again if I go out of town.”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals— from dogs and cats to horses and llamas! Caring for them was a big part of my daily life, and it gave me a deep love and understanding of animals, especially dogs, who were always by my side. Since leaving the farm, I’ve had two dogs of my own—a Great Dane and a German Shepherd—who I trained and cared for throughout high school and college. They taught me how to work with very different personalities and breed temperaments, and I loved every minute of it. Now, I’m a medical student at UAB and live close to campus, which puts me within 20 minutes of many cities around Birmingham. Taking care of your dog is not only something I love—it's also the perfect study break! I’m excited to walk, play with, and care for dogs of all kinds, and I hope to give every dog owner peace of mind knowing their pup is in caring, capable hands. Being a medical student does have its limitations, but thankfully UAB is an accommodating school for all types of schedules. Most days I can make my own schedule, allowing me to fit pet care around study time and class. I will be able to come take care of your pet during the day and even twice a day if needed at most any time. I strive to take care of every pet as if they were my own. With my own animals, I make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, loved, and entertained—whether that’s going for walks, playing with their favorite toys, or just spending quality time together. When I care for your pet, I bring that same level of love and attention—but I also focus on your specific care routines and preferences. I believe consistency is key, and I’ll follow your instructions closely to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure, just like they would with you. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your pet the same care they’re used to—tailored exactly to their needs.

“Tracy is the best pet sitter ever! She and her husband agreed to take care of my dogs Skar and Andy. Although Skar is a very territorial dog and not very friendly with new people. Tracy gave him all the love to earn his trust! Andy on the other hand, is a very loving dog and found a lot of love in Tracy! If you are thinking about hiring someone to care for your pets, Tracy is the perfect person you can trust!”
