About: Two animal lovers here! We've had dogs for as long as we've been alive, and taking care of our own for the past 14 years. Our own dogs, Tango and Bella, really love to socialize and play; we were frequent Rover users ourselves so we understand how important it is to feel at ease and relaxed when dropping your dog off with someone. We have relocated back to NY after a wonderful 5 years in New Mexico and can't wait to meet some Sullivan, Orange, and Pike county pets! We have a large fenced yard, and a quiet, scenic road for walks. We have a cat, but our home is large enough to partition the house if we need to. We try to make our home a really cozy place for our pets, and we think yours will feel right at home here, too! We work remotely on alternating schedules, which means we are both always home with at least one person able to provide unlimited play, snuggles, and an all-seeing eye. We have a 2 acre property with a large fenced-in area, water features nearby for nice walks, and pet-friendly furniture. All animals are treated as part of the pack, and if they wish (or if you wish) for them to be isolated from other animals, their creature comforts will be provided in their space. We use gates to create additional spaces as needed and acclimate animals slowly.

“Jerika has watched my Aussie-doodle, Shadow, several times from hour long stays to week long stays. Shadow is very high energy and it has never been an issue keeping him entertained, safe, and happy with Jerika. Lots of clean space both indoors and outdoors for him to run around without worry of him getting into something he shouldn’t. I’ve had other pet sitters and I can see the difference of his time with them vs his time with jerika based on how excited he gets when he sees her. Definitely recommend!”

“I was so nervous about hiring a cat sitter as I’ve never used a cat sitter before but Jeannie assuaged all my fears. She did a complimentary meet and greet visit a week before I needed her services to meet my kitty and talk over specifics and that really helped. She listened to my concerns and made me feel better about everything. During the week when I was gone Jeannie messaged me as soon as she arrived at my home and sent 6 pictures of him every day with updates about how he was doing. From the pictures I could tell my cat really liked Jeannie. He’s the type of cat who normally runs every time anyone comes through the front door but from the first visit with Jeannie he was out and about when she arrived rubbing on her. She didn’t even have to look for him LOL She played with him and gave him the pets he needed to feel comfortable and happy without me home. By the end of the week he was sitting on her lap which was great to see. He really enjoyed her visits and I was happy to know he had pets and cuddles and loving care while I was gone. All of his dishes were clean and his feeding area was spotless and neat when I returned as if I had never left. I will definitely have Jeannie be my cat sitter the next time I take a trip and I would recommend her to any cat or pet owner that is nervous about leaving their cat alone for a few days. Although Lucy is sweet and mild mannered. The stigma reigns supreme so extra caution is always taken! When Samantha babysits or takes her for the weekend I’ve never been worried! Sam is always alert and from our first meet and greet is always 2 steps ahead and effortlessly guides, teaches, interacts and corrects everything to perfection.
