Rather than turning around and canceling our trip, i began digging in to find care. But, a complete stranger in my home for 10 days!?!? The search was on!! It was reassuring that Rover completes background checks on all care givers. After searching, and contacting many employees, I reached out to Gabriella, and she responded so timely. She was on board and available to help me with our Boxer. Galadriel (Ellie), who is truly a love but not good with other dogs. This service and Gabriella, saved our trip!! She was very responsible, trustworthy, and went over and beyond what her responsibilities were. She brought in packages without being asked. She also cared for our Bearded Dragon, Ozzy, because she saw the need. She stayed the night, and basically took care of the house in our absence. About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 2 husky mixes and 3 cats in my childhood home and I currently have 1 cattle dog and 2 cats. I also had the pleasure of house sitting for a few families consistently while they were away on vacations. I work early mornings so I have plenty of the daylight to spend time with your dogs! I’m available after 1pm to do daily walks, checks ins, and will have hours available for boarding. I have a fully fenced in yard and a 2 year old cattle dog that loves to make friends and play but also understands boundaries. I have a cat as well but I have a two story house so she can be separated from your dog if need be! I can easily crate your dog if needed as well. I am very flexible and accommodating to whatever your fur baby needs to feel comfortable and safe.

Having rescues has taught me many things and provided me with experiences working with food aggressive, animal aggressive, malnourished, and unhealthy animals. My dog has recently gone through extensive leg surgery allowing me to learn how to rehab and work with disabled pets. As a pet owner, I know that pets are family and treat them as so. I own a large breed dog so am familiar with working with pets over 100 pounds. I am a teacher which demonstrated my patience and compassion, even in difficult situations. As a teacher, I am done working by 3 pm allowing for lots of playtime and walks after school. I enjoy getting up early as well. Currently, I am on summer break so I have lots of flexibility. About: i have taken care of animals for 10 years. everybody is always able to count on me to take care of their pets and cats for them. I am currently unemployed but I have worked on a dairy farm for 4 years. i dont have a schedule, tuesday evenings I ride horses. i have a well trained dog who i am able to let out without a leash. I only let him out because i have trained him. When it comes to somebody else’s animals I will do the appropriate measures.

About: I have always loved animals. I grew up taking care of dogs and now that I have moved away from home, I found that I love watching other's pets. I have experience watching my friends and families pets, which gave me a lot of experience caring for different breeds of dogs, ranging from smaller to bigger dogs. I have the patience and experience to make your dog feel safe and cared for. I am currently enrolled in college and I have time in between classes for pet care and most of my nights after 3:00pm are mostly open. During the summer months, I am very flexible because I work part time and get to pick my hours for work. I do not have a problem with the pet being free roaming throughout the apartment while I am there, but I can use a crate if thats what the owner is more comfortable with. While taking the pet outside, I will always put them on a leash because I do not have a fenced in yard. I am pretty flexible with how the owner wants the pet to be cared for, as long as that is communicated in advance.

About: I have had the most pleasure of growing up with dogs and receiving the endless love they give you. Although, I have no professional experience but I have learned how to handle dogs, feed them, walk them, teach them skills by always having dogs in my household. About: I've grown up with pets all my life. I had a dog and a cat as a kid and teen along with fish and reptiles. I currently have a beautiful cat now. I love being around animals and taking care of them. Brightens my whole day when I can just cuddle with my fur babies. Every morning I clean my cats bowls and refill them with water and dry food and I also give my cat wet food in the morning. I clean the litter pan twice a day as well. When I had a dog same thing except I would walk him twice a day and take him out to potty every 2-4 hours. Have a large back yard with posts to keep pets leashed but enough to roam the yard. I have a dog park within minutes from my home too! If you want your fur baby in a crate I have room to put crates up.

About: I've had three black labs in my life, who have turned me into a dog obsessed human! When I attend social gatherings, I am usually found hanging out with the dog giving it some loving attention. When I was younger I walked my neighbors' dogs. I work full time during the week, but evenings and most weekends I'm free to care for dogs. Whether your pup is looking for a quick walk, a mozy around the neighborhood, an active, engaging play session, or an overnighter- I will, with the occasional help of my labrador, Bella along with our dog friend, Frankie, make sure to keep your pup happy and occupied. I have a fenced in yard, a couple of friendly dogs of my own, and can crate your pup with their own crate, so please provide if crating is preferred. I prefer a meet and greet to ensure a good fit for your pup. That would look different depending on the service. Dog walking and House Sitting: I will meet you and your fur friend at your home - this will help establish trust and familiarity for the dog while you are there. At this point we can go over the safest entry into your home, routines for your pup, and any specific care requirements. Doggy Day Care and Boarding: You will meet at my home. Where I will bring my two dogs out to meet you and your pup (everybody leashed) and we can talk and sniff and ensure initial vibes are correct for everybody's safety. When we confirm that the dogs are showing no signs of threat/discomfort, we can move everybody into the gated area of our yard and let your dog off leash. We have lots of smells and space to roam about, so this should be an exciting little adventure for your friend. At this point you can share any specific care instructions and routines important to your dog's happiness.
