Now that I have the time to help other animals, I'd love to help yours. I'm a retired Federal employee who is available in the morning or afternoon for pet check ins and walks. I live in the Myersville area and would be available to help in the surrounding vicinity. If you need a little space for your dog to run free, I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs. We usually take our dogs on walks and let them run in the fenced in area. I can walk your dog, check in on them, feed them, and let them out in your fenced yard.

(Mount airy, woodbine, Frederick, smithsburg, Hagerstown. etc) As of September 2026 we do have a newborn. I do both overnights in your home and boarding opportunities in our home. I can work from home most days which allows a very flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate for what ever needs are present and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. If your pet requires extra exercise, we have a quiet neighborhood to walk around in. We have a dog bed in almost every room, space for you to bring a crate, or an area that can be closed off overnight if necessary or requested. There are few places in the house that the dogs don't have access to out of an abundance of safety. Otherwise, they are welcome to make themselves at home! About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! Besides, all dogs need naps, right? :-) Holiday rates will apply to all of my services. Mostly retired. Why not use my time to care for wonderful animals? I currently have 3 cats.
