“Whitney was absolutely amazing with our 6 month old puppy, Bear. She sent videos and pictures everyday during our week-long boarding, giving us such a peace of mind. We will be using her anytime we go out of town, highly recommend!!”

“I was really nervous because I needed someone to watch Sugar and Cookie at the last minute and wasn’t sure I would be able to find someone I could trust. I’m so glad I found my sitter! They did an excellent job taking care of my dogs and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. The communication was great every day. I received updates about Sugar and Cookie, including what they were doing and their daily activities, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell they were being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. I would definitely recommend this sitter to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and great with dogs. I will absolutely use them again!”

“I contacted Andrea last minute when our original boarding plans fell through. She was always quick to respond and accommodating to our schedules for drop off and pick up. Our dog seems like he was well cared for during his time with Andrea — would book again.”

“Kelly watched my dog Red for the weekend. They became best friends fast. He didn't want to come home with me he loved her and her family so much. She kept me updated with photos and texts throughout the weekend. Amazing. We will be using her again.”

“If you're looking for a sitter who will treat your dogs like family, Elle is the one. We booked her to watch our two pups, Remy and Nala, and from start to finish she went above and beyond in every way. She sent us thoughtful, detailed messages about how the dogs were doing, and reading them made being away so much easier. She told us about Remy going wild in the sprinklers with her kids (he got so excited it was hilarious) and how he played "ice cream man" in the playhouse. Even our more timid one, Nala, worked up the courage at her own pace to fit in throughout the week. Everyday they had a new adventure and I loved reading about it. Elle clearly has a gift with animals. She was communicative, warm, and so attentive to their personalities. We felt totally comfortable knowing they were in her care. We can't recommend Elle enough and will absolutely be booking her again. Thank you for loving our babies like your own!”

“Kristi is truly God send!! She took amazing care of my furbabies, I got daily updates and pictures and she definitely looked out for my family when an emergency (out of our control) presented itself! She will our person as long as we are in Texas! Can’t thank her enough!!”

“Lauren boarded my senior min pin for 11 days and took excellent care of her the whole time, I highly recommend Lauren to anyone who needs a pet sitter in this area”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended! I was very apprehensive about boarding my Zoe because she had never been boarded before, and I didn’t want her left alone in a traditional boarding hotel. I decided to try Rover and came across an amazing family who welcomed my pit, Zoe, with so much grace. From the moment I contacted Ms. Roshonda, she was professional, attentive, and reassuring. We arranged a meet‑and‑greet, which went extremely well. She took the time to go over every detail to ensure Zoe’s comfort, and she allowed Zoe free range through most of her home. She followed Zoe’s schedule and blended it with her own for potty breaks and outdoor activities. Throughout Zoe’s stay, Ms. Roshonda kept us updated with daily photos, videos, and summaries of how Zoe’s day went. She made my girl feel as comfortable as if she were at home with us, which allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation without worry. To top it off, she even sent Zoe home with a gift bag full of goodies. Ms. Roshonda will definitely be my go‑to from now on whenever I need care for Zoe.”

“Samuel did a great job with my three girls, one 10 months, one 8 and one 15 years old. They were well taken care of. I especially loved the video he sent during my time away.”

“Cassandra was an absolute gem! We were very nervous to leave our fur baby with anyone since we’d never done it before, but I was at ease after meeting her and seeing how much she truly loves animals. She sent video updates every few days, which really helped us throughout the 11 days while we were gone. I’d definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and understand that pets are part of the family. As a mom, I’m naturally attentive, responsible, and used to creating a safe, structured, and loving environment. I’ve always had a dog growing up, and was responsible for that dog. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs, from playful and energetic to shy and laid-back. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications when needed, and giving pets plenty of affection and attention. Although I’m active duty and have kids, I make time to take care of your furmily member. I come home on lunch. Walks after PT. I have a camera in the house, your doggo is free to roam while I’m gone. I have a fenced yard, 1 dog, and 4 kids(12,10,3,6). They all know how to play with dogs and understand the cues of a dog. They also enjoy helping.

“Darren and his wife were such an answer to our prayers. We boarded our dog with them over the Christmas holidays and we were so relieved knowing our dog was in their care. Our dog had not done well interacting with dogs in the past, but by the end of her stay, she was playing with their own dog like they were lifelong friends. They also sent us text updates, photos and videos while we were away to show us their progress and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about. We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of help taking care of their dogs.”
“Best Dog Sitter Ever! Desiree and her family took such wonderful care of our Finley! Lots of walks, treats, snuggles, pets and brushes! We couldn’t be more thrilled with the care they gave her! Lots of fun pictures too!! I most definitely recommend!”

“I am new to having my Schnauzer borded, so I was a little apprehensive about the process. After talking to Sarah just a few minutes, she made me very comfortable and the first stay was absolutely perfect for my pup. On the second stay there was a misunderstanding on my part I filled the time to watch him wrong. When I went to drop him off and discuss the visit is when we discovered the discrepancy. I thought I was leaving him for a day and a half. But I had filled out the form just for about 8 hours. Sarah and her family had plans, and now I was in a bind because I had to spend the night in Austin. Sarah stepped up and agreed to watch him for me! I was so grateful, especially because of the reason I had to be in Austin for personal reasons. she is so caring and aware of my situation and saved the day. She also treats my pup like her own, you can tell she cares. Each time he has come home, you can tell he was well treated. She sends pictures and text through out stay keeping me updated on how he is doing. I would recommend Sarah for anyone who needs their pup well taken care of!”

About: I have been around animals and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your fur baby. When I come to take care of, play with, or walk your fur baby I will dedicate my time to loving them. When staying with me I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I like to build trust, communicate and personalize your fur babies stay so you both feel at ease. I am currently home full time and I am available for drop ins when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I will take your fur baby on a walk to use the restroom since I don’t have a gated yard but if that’s a worry, I also have access to a few gated dog parks for your fur baby to run around and use the restroom.
“I am always a little uneasy leaving my dog, but Angel will definitely be my go to. She took amazing care of Boddie! She kept me updated with pictures and text. Boddie had the best time with her. Thank you Angel for taking suck good care of him!!!”

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
