“Jaqueline and Todd were excellent. You can tell they truly love dogs and are genuinely interested in what they are doing. Very professional, very personal and absolutely went above and beyond the call. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Waco area!”

“Jamelah was patient with us and our Belgium Sheppard. This was our first time using Rover with this pet. By the time we returned, she had our guard dog playing with her pet. We were thrilled. I appreciate her flexibility with each pet. She didnt require a crate, and allowed our dog to sleep on a rug by the bed. Exactly like she sleeps at home. We received pics and she responded right away to needy dog parents :). We will aways use Jamelah if she is available.”

“My girl had the time of her life this past weekend! I loved having peace of mind being away but knowing that she was being loved and cared for the whole time. I would recommend Dustin every time, 10/10!! Also the picture/video updates are priceless in my opinion, and I received lots of them!”

“I was really nervous because I needed someone to watch Sugar and Cookie at the last minute and wasn’t sure I would be able to find someone I could trust. I’m so glad I found my sitter! They did an excellent job taking care of my dogs and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. The communication was great every day. I received updates about Sugar and Cookie, including what they were doing and their daily activities, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell they were being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. I would definitely recommend this sitter to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and great with dogs. I will absolutely use them again!”

“Samuel did a great job with my three girls, one 10 months, one 8 and one 15 years old. They were well taken care of. I especially loved the video he sent during my time away.”

About: Hello! My name is Yazmin and I’ve loved all 4-legged creatures since I could walk on my own two. Ever since I was little I have been surrounded by animals. From horses and goats on grandma’s farm to parakeets and dogs in my own backyard. I currently have 2 furry friends, one siberian husky who loves a dramatic flare and one yorkshire terrier who, although smaller, is just as mischevious. These pooches are family so I can only make sure that they are well taken care of when I’m gone, which is what all fur parents want, expect and deserve. I hope to provide that same love and care for your own furry friends. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes but am currently limited to only caring for dogs that are 20 lbs max. I have experience with puppies as well so no pup left behind! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you and I hope you and your pooches have a paw-some day! 🐾 Although I work full time, I dedicate as much time as I can to my own pups and you can expect for me to do the same with yours. However, I am available full time for boarding most holidays and summers so your furry friends can be taken care of no matter the event. I live in a large home with lots of yard space to walk your pup! I have two dogs, one outdoor who has his own fenced in area and one indoor who has just as much love as I to give. If need be, I can accommodate the indoor space so that your pooch may remain separate from my indoor dog. Your dog deserves to feel welcome, safe and protected so please feel free to express any concerns you may have. Crate and bed must be provided but fear not, more than enough space is available to accommodate your pup!
“Jessamy was amazing. She took such great care of our baby girl Abbie. Her pups were the right size and had the right energy level for our girl. Abbie also gives 5 stars.”

“Heather was amazing. She took excellent care of my dogs and made me at ease leaving them with her. She was quick to respond to my messages and sent me pictures. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone needing to board their dogs.”

About: I have cared for animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, and turtles. I’ve had 5 dogs and 6 cats throughout my life and currently have 3 additional cats to the 6. Growing up around so many different animals has taught me how to recognize their individual personalities, needs, routines, and comfort levels. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning, companionship, and providing plenty of love and attention. I truly enjoy being around animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. As a stay-at-home mom and Army Reservist, I have a flexible daily and weekly schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m home most of the day, so I can provide frequent attention, bathroom breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I’m able to work pet care into my routine without rushing, and I enjoy having animals around throughout the day. My schedule also allows me to be flexible with different pets’ routines and their owners’ needs. I care for every pet based on their individual routine, personality, and needs. In a client’s home, I would follow their instructions carefully, keep their normal feeding and bathroom schedule, provide exercise and playtime, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection. I would also keep their space clean and comfortable and communicate with their owner about how they’re doing. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.
“The sweetest and most caring person you could find to care for your fur baby! Jenna watched my dog multiple times over the span of the last 2 years and has been absolutely wonderful. My dog literally jumps for joy when she sees Jenna!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended! I was very apprehensive about boarding my Zoe because she had never been boarded before, and I didn’t want her left alone in a traditional boarding hotel. I decided to try Rover and came across an amazing family who welcomed my pit, Zoe, with so much grace. From the moment I contacted Ms. Roshonda, she was professional, attentive, and reassuring. We arranged a meet‑and‑greet, which went extremely well. She took the time to go over every detail to ensure Zoe’s comfort, and she allowed Zoe free range through most of her home. She followed Zoe’s schedule and blended it with her own for potty breaks and outdoor activities. Throughout Zoe’s stay, Ms. Roshonda kept us updated with daily photos, videos, and summaries of how Zoe’s day went. She made my girl feel as comfortable as if she were at home with us, which allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation without worry. To top it off, she even sent Zoe home with a gift bag full of goodies. Ms. Roshonda will definitely be my go‑to from now on whenever I need care for Zoe.”

“Suzanne was amazing as always! We needed a sitter pretty last minute and she was willing to help. She always treats my babies so well and they love being with her! Thank you!”

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs, have had multiple throughout my childhood, and adult life. They show nothing but love, and I love to reciprocate it through my care for your pet. I am home 7 days a week, and doing schooling online. I will give your pet the love and attention they need and deserve. I currently go to school full time online, so my schedule is super flexible! My schedule is your pets schedule, and will attend to anything and everything they need! I live in a house that sits on about an acre, fully fenced yard. I have scathed every foot of my yard, as I have a miniature dachshund who is very curious. I also have a doggy door on the back door of my home, that can be used at all times.
“Jayden was absolutely incredible with with my dog! I needed someone at the very last minute, and Jayden stepped up with only an hour's notice without hesitation. Throughout the stay, I received regular photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind seeing him so happy and well cared for. If you’re looking for someone reliable, communicative, and great with pets, I cannot recommend Jayden enough. 5 stars”

“Cassandra was an absolute gem! We were very nervous to leave our fur baby with anyone since we’d never done it before, but I was at ease after meeting her and seeing how much she truly loves animals. She sent video updates every few days, which really helped us throughout the 11 days while we were gone. I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Celeste took amazing care of our pets, Nero and Moose, while we were out of town. This was our first experience traveling and leaving our pets in someone else's care, so naturally we were a little nervous. Celeste immediately put us at ease with her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. Our travel schedule ended up being somewhat uncertain, and she was incredibly flexible and understanding throughout the entire process. She was so easygoing and accommodating, which made a stressful situation much easier for us. Knowing our pets were in good hands gave us tremendous peace of mind. Nero and Moose were both well cared for, and it was clear that Celeste treated them with the same attention and affection she would if they were her own pets. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. When we visit Waco again, we will absolutely be booking with Celeste, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, and high-quality pet care!”

“Darren and his wife were such an answer to our prayers. We boarded our dog with them over the Christmas holidays and we were so relieved knowing our dog was in their care. Our dog had not done well interacting with dogs in the past, but by the end of her stay, she was playing with their own dog like they were lifelong friends. They also sent us text updates, photos and videos while we were away to show us their progress and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about. We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of help taking care of their dogs.”

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
