“Monica was amazing with our two dogs! She came for a meet and greet and I could instantly tell she knows how to handle dogs by her interactions with them. Monica was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She really tried to let the dogs stick to their normal routine as much as possible. She hung out and played with them. This was the first time we've had someone stay at our house to watch the dogs and we felt very comfortable with Monica there. We will be using her again for a longer stay! Thank you Monica!”

About: Hi there! My name is Olivia and I am an experienced animal trainer and vet tech. I worked at a clinic for 7+ years as a veterinary technician (including exotics!) and as a trainer and handler in a professional animal studio where I was in charge of animal (and people!) training. Have a special needs dog or one with quirky behaviors? I will work with you and with them. I can give medications, do walks, do short training sessions and will clean up after your pet. I am willing to work with and accomodate all types of dogs and other pets. I can even do some basic training sessions if requested during any visits. I have flexible availability and am able to be there early mornings to late nights to care for your furry friends. Personally, I am used to a multipet household as we have dogs, cats, and chickens. I pay close attention to a pet’s personality, habits, and routines so I can adapt my care to their comfort level, whether that means providing a quiet, calm environment for shy pets or engaging in active play for more energetic ones. I also make it a point to send regular updates, photos, and notes to owners so they feel reassured and connected while they’re away. In my own home, I designate safe areas for rest, play, and meals, and I make sure fresh water is always available. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely everything from where the pet sleeps to how they like their walks so the pet’s routine is not disrupted. My goal is for every pet to feel secure, cared for, and happy, no matter the environment.

About: I’ve helped to take care of our dogs since I was 13 and have taken care of Lu guinea pigs for the past 4 years. I love all animals and I am planning on pursuing a career in veterinary science. I am currently searching for a part time job. Right now I am available on weekends and in the mornings and afternoons of weekdays, except for Thursday. I have a fenced in yard for my dogs to run around in. I am available to walk and play with your dog when needed. I am also capable when you are out of town, to visit to feed and let out/ play with your dog.

About: Being an only child I've always had a dog for a companion since I was young. I've had a Husky, German shepherd, and more recently a Labrador and currently a golden retriever puppy. My home never feels complete without a fur baby. Now that I have been fully remote i find myself with too much free time on my hands and Riley is dying to have a play mate. I am fully remote with access to a walking trail and dog park. We hit the trail every 4 hours for potty breaks and some fetch. I live in a quiet apartment so noises are not a problem. I do not sit more than one pet (aside from my dog). I like to keep a keen eye on the mischief.

I only board potty-trained dogs to keep things clean and comfortable for everyone. I do have a medium-sized crate available if you prefer your dog to have their own space at night instead of free roaming. My main priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. I make sure they get the care, love, and attention they need in a calm and comfortable environment.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life since I was a kid. I love dogs and my whole family is very dog friendly. I currently have two of my own dogs, Blizzard my 5 year old Goldendoodle and Boomer my 8 year old Beagle. These guys are my best friends! Since rescuing my Goldendoodle Blizzard, I’ve also learned to bathe & groom him, a special skill that takes practice and patience. I work from home, so I am able to take care of the dogs and be very flexible with their walking, feeding and bathroom needs. At my house, dogs are welcome on the furniture and on the bed at night but I will respect other owners obedience/rules while caring for their dogs. We have a lot of the room in the house which even has a fun room with toy mountain, a collection of hundreds of dog toys that everyone is welcome to play with! I have a big backyard but it is not fenced in. Instead, I prefer to walk the dogs on leashes/leads or attach them to the dog-run line I have running across the backyard for playtime! I would love the opportunity to watch your dog(s) and can be flexible with short-term or long-term stays plus other accommodations. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and give them a lot of love and care for their entire stay! I work from home, therefore I can accommodate many different types of schedules based on a dogs needs. Frequent walks, feeding or medication is no challenge throughout each day/night. Any dog who comes to stay with us will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. Same goes if I am to come care for your dogs at your home. They will get plenty of love and attention with play-time and companionship!

I have a soft spot for older pups who enjoy taking their time on walks. I will never rush a good sniff! I'm a PhD student working part time over the summer.
