About: My love for animals all started when I was eight and took care of a family friend's cats. Since then, I have gained experience with animals of all types and sizes. In addition to our family dog, I adopted a rabbit of my own who was my pride and joy for six years before succumbing to a hereditary health issue. I also have taken horse lessons, and I currently volunteer with a nearby animal shelter as a dog walker and socializer. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and breeds, and I look forward to offering your pet the best care it can get. I am currently working remotely, so pet care will be sprinkled throughout my daily routine. Because my schedule is spaced out and very flexible, I will be able to visit your pet as many times as needed throughout the day (or even stay at the house while working if asked) to ensure that they are getting the quality care and attention they need. I work with my clients to give both them and their pets the best possible experience. Prior to hire, I am happy (and in fact, prefer) to have a free 15-30 minute consultation to familiarize myself to the pet and discuss any care specifics that the client may have. Because my care is individualized and will conform to the owner's wishes, I love to send pictures and videos throughout the day of the pet's activities and any extra-cute moments. I make it a habit to send short write-ups of the day and the pet's activities that day so that my clients feel as connected as possible to their pets.

About: I’ve been in a constant home of taking care of animals from a young age. I’ve trained over 6 dogs for basic training and have homed three cats. I’m versatile when it comes to new puppies as well as senior dogs. I’m a part time student so I’m mostly free in the evenings on weekdays and the weekends. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! I am a trustworthy person who will respect your space as I would my own and leave it better than I found it. I am an EMT-b and am working on my RBT certification, so I have been through several background checks and first aid trainings. Safety and trust are very important to me and if desired I can frequently send you pictures/videos of your pets throughout the day! 🫶

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

About: I’ve had pets of all sizes, shapes, and needs. I’d love to take your dog for a walk, feed your bearded dragon, or snuggle with your cat. Working from home allows me the flexibility to give special attention or break for a walk any time of day! Your pet will love laying at my feet, exploring my fenced in back yard, or getting some exercise on a walk around town. I have a fenced in yard and an old, friendly dog and 3 cautious cats to keep your pet company. Your pet will have run of the house like they’re at home. I am happy to crate your pet if that is your preference.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for nine years. I’ve also walked dogs at the Lynchburg Humane Society for years, and petsitted for and walked many others over the years. I’m available all summer thru mid August for pet walking/sitting. I’m very flexible due to my part-time work and am always open to last-minute requests! I have years of experience pet sitting within owners’ homes and am willing to accommodate whatever needs they have for their own home and their pets. I adore animals and have enough experience caring for them to be confident I can provide a positive experience for everyone involved.

“Jessica was a great pet sitter. We made plans to attend an event at the last minute and she was available to care for 3 pets! We spoke prior to her visit and she asked questions to make sure that she was giving them the expected care. She was prompt with the times that we discussed to drop in on the dogs. She walked each one of them individually on a double leash (so no one escaped) and sent pictures so that I would know they were okay. She even brought and left behind extra dog treats!”

About: I have always had a love for animals. I worked in the veterinary field for about 10 years. I have owned animals of my own since I was a small child. I aspire one day to become a certified dog trainer. I have pet sit everything from cats and dogs to goats and sheep. I do work full time but my father lets the dogs out at lunch time. I’m home by 5:30 so if it’s at my house it will be able to play from when I get home until the next morning. If the pet is not staying with me I will go before and after work and stay over if need be. My pets are extremely well cared for. Up to date on all vaccinations and flea medications. They all get plenty of exercise and have free range of the house when someone is home. They sleep in bed with me at night. I have a large fenced in yard for them to play. They are crated when someone is not home for their safety and to keep them out of trouble.

About: I’ve been around a lot of animals in my life and I have worked with dogs to a whole room of reptiles at a camp. I lived along side a parrot most my life and cats as well. I have been pet sitting for a lot of my life for friends, neighbors, and family! I pride myself on my love for animals and my ability to bond with them. I’m happy to do anything asked of me as well to make it easy for the pet owners and easier for the pets. I currently do not have a job because I left teaching to further pursue something I love which would be animals. Besides doing little trips here and there, I will be available most days, especially the mornings and evenings (so morning walks and evening walks for bed time). I can stay over night at houses as well. I am, of course, fine with weekends as well! I am working on making this my career as much as I can. I am trying not to have to go too far from home for dog walking but house sitting and pet sitting I’m fine to go farther especially when staying at the house there. It will cost more though. I am good with crating and good with most size animals. I work with all sizes. I love to interact and love on the animals instead of just going in, feeding and letting them out and that’s it. Unless for some reason your animal doesn’t want loving, I will do what they prefer. I also am always willing to brush your fluffy babies, I can help with that as well! I will only have myself and no other animal with me because I will not bring an animal to my home. I will like to meet and greet just to make sure I and the animal will get along okay.

About: I have never gone without having pets. Growing up we had as many as 20 animals in total. I always strive to have a personal relationships with every animal I can. Have worked with training puppies and kittens as well as spending time with seniors. Love all animals but particularly my big dogs! I am new to the area and wanting to get to know neighbors and Texas! Figured playing and walking pets would blend the best of both worlds to do that. I will ensure to keep pets safe and secure while being mindful of each pet family. At my home I ensure all doors and gates are shut and on walks harnesses and leashes are secure.

About: I was raised around animals of all kinds. I have experience with puppies, kittens, adult cats and dogs, as well as, senior pets. I have spent time working in a professional dog boarding/daycare facility, and I have gained experiences in dog behaviors, interactions, and care. I can administer medication and follow any special meal requirements including special diets or any special feeding routines or habits. I am comfortable with cats of all sociability and dogs of all kinds. No one is too big or too small! I am at home full time caring for my nieces and nephew ages 2, 10, and 14. I do prefer that any guests are friendly with children, cats, and dogs, but I do have space to separate if needed. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to work around yours! I am also available early mornings and late nights to help you provide your pet the best care. Ensuring the safety of your pet is my top priority. I will follow any instructions exactly. I will take extra care with reactive dogs and make sure that I am aware of all triggers and rules that you may have for your pet. I will follow rules you have for your pets how I would want someone to follow mine.
